Wouldn't be a bit surprised to hear Gregory and 10 games next......

That is why smart, calculated drafting is so important. The team relies on the unreliable and it is clearly an organizational initiative. Whether it is injury or suspension it makes no difference when all that matters is winning as many of the sixteen games that you can.

This lazy guy is a cancer. I'm a strong believer in 2nd chances but he's on his 4th. Cut him now . If you don't it sends the wrong message to our team.

Time to take a ZERO tolerance stance with drug related issues.

Do not draft ANYONE with a substance abuse issue no matter how long it's been .

Cut ANY player that gets suspended on substance abuse issues even on the first offense.

Cut McClain, Gregory and Lawrence today.

Do you think that would send a message?

Well, you have to kind of have to cut him now.

You've given him enough chances and he's failed to live up to them only due to himself and to his own detriment.

It's strange how Hardy can't be an RKG considering his circumstances and was given not even a full year, but this guy who had little to no media pressure on him was given ample opportunity and still failed. The organization is still failing to make right character decisions and that's ironic considering Garrett's RKG policy.

I think he would be ready.
It depends on his cost, if he now gets paid per games he actually plays, and doesnt count against the roster, then
the smart thing is to keep him for later on.

No, the smart thing is to cut him and not look back.

Seems appropriate given the circumstances.

A Farmer walked through his field one cold winter morning.

On the ground lay a Snake, stiff and frozen with the cold.

The Farmer knew how deadly the Snake could be, and yet he picked it up and put it in his bosom to warm it back to life.

The Snake soon revived, and when it had enough strength, bit the man who had been so kind to it.

The bite was deadly and the Farmer felt that he must die. As he drew his last breath, he said to those standing around:

Learn from my fate not to take pity on a scoundrel.

Yes. It would suck to be them.

To the average player, not really. They know not to touch the stuff to begin with.

Yes, it would also drop our sack total from 31 last year to 16.

I don't see losing McClain as a big blow at all. This 280 pound out of shape stoner is not better than players down the depth chart. People seemed to see McClain for the plays he has made in the past but that is not this version of the player. I couldn't care less about the effects of him choosing Cheetos over football.

The same people griping about the second round draft pick are some of the folks nixing Ragland as only a two down player at draft time. If it was so important of a position and Ragland is so good then he should have been considered over drafting another running back and there were other rounds in the draft too. They will find more bodies who will perform better than Fatty would have and who love the game more than he.

Seems like that's why they didn't draft guys like Spence this year in the draft. That's why I also think they weren't going to take Bosa had he been there
