Definitely going to add that "eye of the tiger" element to their game!
GreaT great point...i never really saw it in that light, i always looked at it as we need to lock him up as soon as possible but then u have the intangible reasons why some players go above and beyond

Ro and Hardy's attitude HAS to spill over to the rest of the defense. Scandrick will join in I'm sure.

Everyone will have to pick it up a notch to keep up with these two.

I remember Scandrick getting pumped in the Bears game. He had attitude

I love this attitude from this guy. If he can sustain it from August to February, we may have something. The few hairs on my head stood on end. I can't wait for this season to start. Next up this off season a great draft.

What I wouldn't give right now for a stud DT to take HaydenMcClainBrent's place and dominate.
Hmm... That's a good question: What exactly would I not give for this to take place?

I wouldn't give my girl... No. No way. Out of the question. Next...
I wouldn't give... my- well I would give my Playstation 4, I don't get on it, but once every other month when I need to blow off some steam. So upon reflection I WOULD give that.
I wouldn't give... My life. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the season if I did...
I wouldn't give... One of my dogs. The other can go. Little loud mouthed, pee-filled monster... The big guy is my Soldier and I wouldn't give him up for anything. That dude will break me when he finally goes... Serious.
I wouldn't give... Risen Star. I mean- I had to think about it several times before saying no, but it was a serious conversation and the points were going both ways in my head before coming to that conclusion.
I wouldn't give my favorite board game- Eldritch Horror. I'm a sucker for that game for some reason and I'm just starting to gain a good crew here in El Paso (you know how hard that is?) so I can't just let that go...

On second thought- maybe I would give up Eldritch Horror... It takes a freaking hour to just set it up.

Everything else? Get me a stud DT to pair with Crawford that can get solid penetration and take on double teams and NOT get pushed back 5 yards consistently, but rather PUSHES 5 yards into their backfield consistently.

My home? I'll get another. My small dog? Let him be someone else's terror. And he can stop eating my Eldritch Horror game box whenever I leave (he hunts it down, I swear. I hide it and he still manages to find it!) too.
My cars? I don't even like driving! I let others take me where I need to go. I'll get an electric bike. Those are cool.

Get this team a DT that kicks Hayden off this team! I will give my home, my dog (the little one) and cars and whatever else is on my do not take list (which I'm sure I will revise upon consideration) to make this happen!
I will empty a bank account! The small one! Please! JerrStephMcClaGarrett! Do it!

I'm getting a Cowboys tattoo.

When Risen is being consistently upbeat about the outlook of this team (and without any noticable snark/sarcasm), you just know we're in for a good year.

I more liken it to a totem of doom. That man is the epitome of subversive. If the government wasn't too busy watching me... He'd be third or fourth on the next-to-watch list.
That man should thank me daily for my mere existence.

Well, I'm glad he's excited. Him being excited/motivated is a pretty big key I'd think.

To me..he is sort of the Dez Bryant of the defense.

He;s vocal and gets people fired up around him.

Hardy is sort of the same way.

He will get guys fired up on the DL once he gets in there..

I'm hoping the NFL decides quickly about any action it's going to take.

The sooner we know the better plans for the draft can be figured out.

And why isn't the punishment like McLain's where Hardy just loses paychecks instead of games AND paychecks.?

McLain is a repeat offender of the league and he gets paycheck issues only?

This is the same ol' NFL.

They will hand down a big suspension then amended it like they did with the New Orleans Saints Bounty-Gate on QBs.

Blah blah blah.

For sure . . . "taking over the world," gotta love it. If he keeps on like he did last year, he just might!

If his head is right, and he has a full training camp he is one bad mutha(shut your mouth)!

By the looks of things, he's already perked up things considerably around here.

What he's liable to do on the field might even turn out to be lethal. Yeah, baby!

I would be willing to bet that unlike Ware, if he or Hardy lay the wood, they sure as hell are not going to help pick the poor bastid up! I don't want a lot of "likes", I want nasty! Everyone, including me, appreciated what Ware did for the team, but he did not have the nasty that I want from this team. I think we are getting that now with our Coach Marinelli.

You should give me props for publicly saying I wouldn't give you up for a Stud DT in the post right above yours.
And that was hard... I deserve a proper!

Marinelli wasn't a "tunnel rat" for nothing -- he's a ragin' bull, just achin' to pop out of a compact body. All the members of the DL are getting their Biadasz attitudes from that little guy. There's more guts crammed into that little body than there's greenbacks in a barracks crap game. He's definitely the fuel that fires 'em up.

Marinelli was a tunnel rat? Really? I'm not sure how many know what a tunnel rat had to do, but I never knew this! Damn...that was one hard job!

I would imagine having Rolando early in the offseason as opposed to picking him up off the couch right as training camp began is going to be a big plus going into the season this year.

I said the same thing. A motivated, healthy Ro with a full offseason and train camp regiment is going to be a beast. No disrespect to the other linebackers, but none of them hold a candle to Ro. There's a reason he was a top 10 draft pick.
