Oh the irony!! Romo fans have been just as bad or worse. at least dak is still playing Romos been gone for 7 years and still getting excuses

There is no irony. Every Romo fan i see arguing in his favor are using logic, statistics, and sound reasoning to support their stance on who was better.

Dak fans are using playoff wins which is a team stat, but will be the first one to blame others as to why the Cowboys lost. Most of them in here wont blame Dak for the San Fran loss. They blamed kellen moore and Daks receivers

Not getting into the Romo Dak debate but to discuss another point you made.

Do you not find it odd that Moore leaving and Dak not regressing is more of an idictment on Moore than Dak. In fact, the fact Dak was much better this year when the routes werent from 1975 proves that Moore was a problem, and further to that, the fact he couldnt light up teams with the incredible Justin Herbert ( a real QB as stated by some here) shows me that Moore was definitely a big part of the problem.

I have no problem blaming Dak and those highlighted things because all are true. Romo fans tend to make it a sole problem being dak is the main reason. Hes played the QB position for 8 years with the same results is what i hear yet the same thing occured with Romo and its well they would have been 4-12 without him. Craytons fault, Miles lost it in the lights or Dez caught it. He had bad defenses or his Oline sucked. Romo had garrett etc. EXCUSES they are just like the ones I hear now for Dak

if you are going to put it all on dak or make him the main problem because he plays QB and gets paid alot then do the same for Romo. Its not about who is or was better they both were and are damn good QBs and both were flawed in different ways.

Their issue in my opinion is they play QB for the most polorizing franchise with huge legacy and they play in the jerry jones era someone who hasnt quite figured out how to succesfully navigate the salary cap era and put together a complete team. One QB still has a chance the other is history

the other issue is half our fans evaluate on emotion and are so championship starved they just want a scapegoat. Its hard to win in this league and im not sure our fanbase (myself included at times) are anything close to being experts on football evaluation.

I still dont buy Kellen Moore being a problem though. Everybody forgets that Dak played a big part in him being the oc here for as long as he did.

I will agree that McCarthy >>> Kellen as far as being a QB guru. He helped Dak clean up a lot of his footwork issues

Romo was on an NFL roster for 14 years. Dak for 8. Logic and reasoning are not in your toolbox.

Definitely a problem. And it isnt even his fault. Its the archaic scheme that was forced on him by Garrett and Linehan. If I had to watch one more curl route I may have jumped off a bridge. Did you happen to see how many times this season our guys were running wide open? With Moore that was a rarity.

Kellen Moore had zero QB coaching experience but Jerry insisted on handing his rookie QB over to a completely green "coach". Moore like Garrett also got to learn on the job...
