Romo Speaks

you're right I'm not a doctor.....either way i think he's just about done.

I get the overreaction in the game thread. But you've had time to think, we all have. We have the news on his back now. It's time to relax and start thinking straight.

i have had time to think, and i think he should retire before he really gets hurt for good.

  • C4 helps control the shoulders as well as the diaphragm—the sheet of muscle that stretches to the bottom of the rib cage—for breathing. The C4 dermatome covers the neck and top of the shoulders.

And C4 is in the cervical region....you know, upper back and shoulders...nothing to do with low back and legs

Well, your previous post summed up why your opinion on health means about as much as mine and nearly everyone else on this forum. His back is fine. Not sure what else there is to discuss.

Hmm....I was just reiterating that it wasn't a nerve from the lower back and was from the neck. Thanks but next time I won't defend you

Tony seems fine in the interview on espn a minute ago. Said in answering the last question about what he'd do different next time, "maybe I'll throw the ball away....."

I guess I misunderstood your post then....I read it that you were confirming that a low back injury would affect him above the shoulders. My bad.

Yes, it's upsetting. There is a real hatred for him and this franchise around the league. I just wish we had a few more Michael Irvins and Erik Williams on the team to fight back. The team looked pretty soulless tonight for a dress rehearsal game.

Honestly Z the hatred for him these days is simply that he's the Cowboys QB. I always like lurking on message boards and he gets a lot of "hate" respect. As A Giants fan said this week in a post--

"I hope we see Dak this season because that means Romo is hurt and we sure as hell can't beat them with him."

Aikman got it and Dak should get ready for the same thing because he's gonna get it too. It's just the way it is.

Fellas' not really sure how to react to this so will reserve judgement.

The time will come when Tony knows if he can still play in this league any more

Almost like attrition from all the injuries manifest itself in the most benign hits

Please stop playing doctor.

If they didn't feel the need for even an x-ray, there's nothing to worry about here.
I wouldn't believe anything concerning Tony's injuries.

They never say what's really happening until its so obvious that he just can't play.

That day is coming soon.

At least now we have somebody the rest of the team will rally around in DAK.

We've never had that before in the Romo Era.

Nobody has ever stepped up and lead this team like DAK since Troy Aikman.

And just in time.

now Dak is a leader like Troy AIkman?

My god. MY head is going to explode tonight.

AND starts the long line of scrubs

I still don't think Dak is the answer he has seen nothing but vanilla defenses

I mean to go out on that hit - just wait Tony

teams are chopping at the bit to get a hold of you

That hit was directly to his back. I'm glad he's doing alright, but even late in the game from on the sideline he had a pained look on his face. I"ll be more comfortable to hear he practices at the next opportunity.

Let us help you find your head again..Humpty Dumpty.

Yes..when Aikman took over his QB skills were obvious as are DAKs..

once they added Smith after already having Irvin..it's was Kismet.

We have Elliott and Dez.

Every game that goes by we play Romo over DAK..

we are delaying the inevitable and wasting the opportunity this team has to win now.

Romo will not get us there.

There comes a time where the millions being spent to build this offense for Romo is a waste of time and money.

Jerrah is stubborn but not stupid.

Nothing about the Seattle defense was vanilla. They were stunting, blitzing, dropping linemen into zones...if you thought they were vanilla you don't know footballl. They may not have "game planned" but they definitely weren't vanilla.

I thought that the hit was on his upper back or shoulder area and thought the injury was more of compression in lower back after hitting the ground. Kind of surprised me

Maybe not vanilla but surely a double caramel mochiato at the very least.
