I'm a Cowboys fan, I'll enjoy a chip just no matter who is the QBDoes that make you a daggot?
I wish him well wherever he goes. Again, I hope he goes to a contender.I've been hinting or flat-out saying that he still wants to play. He confirmed that in his statement. I hate proclamations but this is his final year as a player in Dallas. He'll be in another uniform next season.
Yep, Dak is the future here, but he's the nail in the coffin come playoff time. He's not ready.
How can you be a Cowboy fan and not a Romo fan?
He can't start as a 4th round rookie! <Starts>
He won't win! <Wins>
He hasn't faced a real defense! <Beats the Bengals>
He hasn't faced a real REAL defense on the road! <Beats Green Bay>
He hasn't faced any adversity yet! <Beats Philly in OT>
He can't keep up with a prolific offense! <Comes back to beat Pitt>
How far back are you going to move those goalposts, man?
I would've like something more concrete (like Romo's official statement) but you're right (as WoodysGirl pointed out to me earlier).I get your point, but didn't JJ already amke a definitive statement saying that Tony would be the backup this Sunday? Maybe I misread it, but I thought he did.
Romo has a losing record in the playoffs I suppose he's ready too?
Yep, Dak is the future here, but he's the nail in the coffin come playoff time. He's not ready.
Neither can I. Unbelievable. He not only conceded the job to Dak, he told the media to get off their back and support this team's decision.I can't believe some people are pissed at Tony for this.
That's really the question right there but I think the odds are in his favor that a contending team will be available. I still say how well that team's offensive line protects will be one of his main criteria.I wish him well wherever he goes. Again, I hope he goes to a contender.
Cardinals make the most sense for Romo. Everything they accomplished with Palmer, Romo could do easily...and much more. Good defense, good RB, and are guaranteed to play 10 games a season at the minimum indoors (in Glendale) or in good weather (LA/SF).
Except...he only lasted 3 plays vs Seattle. Lol. I kid I kid.
NE's defense is terrible. Dak would easily lead the offense to enough points to win. It would be up to the defense to get enough stops.
Also on dallascowboys.com's website. If you haven't heard his beautiful press conference. It's about to be played on NFLN. Watch it, it's Dallas Cowboys history. It's Tony Romo raw.
gah...
we failed him.
