As a GM he sure is.Bill Belichick is apparently chopped liver

Are we really calling the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 an 8-8 team? It was ridiculously stacked.Maybe not but Brady has rings post break up and did it with a 8-8 team. Bellicheat hasn’t done anything.
But I honestly think this list is based on last year. That top 10 had good years.
Jerry the GM and Jerry the Owner have worked together to build the most valuable sports entertainment franchise in the *world*, and I think for at least 5 years running now.If you take Jerrys last 5 years as a GM then yes
GM puts talent on the field and fields competitive teams and Jerry has done that actually outside of 2000-2002 jerry has always had talent on the field and been in the mix for playoffs outside of some injury riddled years
now the issue is hes been GM for over 30 years and hasnt had postseason success since the 95 season
now if you judge him off that alltogether thats when it gets dicey
Yep. Just like how youtubers get clicks by making a "rumors" video of literally every single draft prospect or free agent available potentially signing with the Cowboys even though there has been zero interest shown.Jerry's name is only there to generate clicks.
I think with probably 10 other QBs they make the playoffs the previous year….hell maybe if Jamie’s reels it back some they may win more than 8 with him. But thru were technically a 8 win team before he got there. But there’s a reason Brady went there. He wasn’t stupid. He knew they were deep. Are we really calling the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 an 8-8 team? It was ridiculously stacked.
Winning championships without Jimmy is not easy.Well he does have 3 Championships in his first 5 or 6 years.
Can't just disregard that.

Based on what? That he knew Jimmy from when they were room mates? True Skillz! But he hired Jimmy.
Be nice .....lol
BTW.....I happen to agree, Jerry is top 10, min.
Jerry’s entire football career is based on Jimmy’s coaching and personnel genius. Look at the results post Jimmy. Look at the playoff wins since the 1994 SB. Dallas is with the bottom feeders. It's called that he was lucky enough to know and bring in Jimmy Johnson,
I didn't disregard that. he did it as an owner. Johnson was the defacto GM, running everything.Well he does have 3 Championships in his first 5 or 6 years.

Jimmy was having great success at Miami lol. He was far more than just his roommate lol.Based on what? That he knew Jimmy from when they were room mates? True Skillz!
Exactly. Without McClay Jerry would trade up to draft the next Quincy Carter.Erm, Will McClay is pretty much the GM tbfh.
And they would be top 10 if he lumped all three (McClay/Jones/Jones) together--which is how it functions.Erm, Will McClay is pretty much the GM tbfh.
I actually LOLed.I would have put Al Davis ahead of JJ.....still...
