3/30: As expected, Pacman Jones has been traded to Cowboys for a reported 5th round pick, this according to RotoTimes sources. The report noted that a news conference is scheduled for early Monday morning.

so are the Jones' flying back to Dallas for this supposed press conference? Because they are out of town for the owners meetings

Hmmm.....no mention of a player. I was a fan of a 7th and Ayodele.

No mention of the pick being conditional. I'd feel far more comfortable if it was a conditional pick...still, a fifth isn't bad for a good corner...if he plays.

Look at it like this - we gave up a first for Carp and that never panned out so a fifth for Pacman - conditional or not - is a bargain!

He hasn't even been reinstated yet. I'm not cool with guaranteeing the Titans one of our picks for a guy that might not even suit up this year.

...but if he is, then you're right, it is a good deal.

Quit putting the cart ahead of the horse. The final chapter hasn't been written on Carp yet. I'm not saying he will turn out to be an All-Pro or anything close to that. The coaching staff screwed up last year and admitted they short changed the guy. Let us see what he can do in the future. You guys quick to pull the trigger on guys like Carp should learn your Cowboys history. Specifically go look at the "Manster" Randy White for example.

I've been listening to The Ticket all day thinking it would break there first, which is tough duty on Sundays.

I think now Rototimes or whatever it's called simply guessed the deal would be done today and went ahead "broke" the story first.
