If I was Jerry I'd fine him too. every time these boys wanna become men and speak out against there coaches they should be fined. but man our players are the biggest babies in the NFL and our coaching staff is a joke.

Their talent stinks. It's like a bunch of fat kids playing against a bunch of high flying speedsters. Fat kids can practice all day and night, they'll still get blown out.

You have to have talent to win, and then you have to have great coaching.
After that, you have to have great leadership - the ability to make your team believe in what you are doing and make them do it.

Non story.

I just heard the entire interview and there was nothing wrong with what he said.

I don't know that the mangement and coaching has nothing to do with it.

During the season, they rarely lost in a blowout and a couple of them were pretty close. I'd say the bumbling front office and coaching has a lot more to do with things.

I guess they only need to pick up a few role players for their team since they are stacked with talent. ;)

That's good to hear. From what I've seen of Roy11 in several DC.com interviews, he's not a malcontent or a dummy. Now this blaming Garrett today doesn't look good, but in literally every other interview I've seen, he's been really good and seemed like a good team player.

He did just say in his 103.3 interview that when he first got here, on run plays or pass plays to other WRs, he'd run out and practice blocking the DBs. He said not only was it good practice for blocking, but it was good conditioning, too. But nobody here did that, so after a while he stopped doing it.

Hmm.

BTW, Nate told him on air to not do that -- to not conform, but to keep doing things the right way and eventually he could be a leader this team needs.

I'm not amazed.

If Detroit doesn't have the talent then they need to work harder to win a game.

This just shows how our mentality has gone from "team" to "me".
And there's a me in team.

It's sad, maybe cupcake can get stale and harden. Then we'd finally have a coach.

I agree. He was only speaking truth from his perspective, sometimes people don't want to hear the truth.

Roy had a interview on the Randy Galloway show.

They are about to "break-it-down" it after the break.

That's about 5:25pm in DFW area.

LOL.

You should have waited a while on saying he was the best thing going.

Yup and frankly I don't know why people are killing the messenger here???This team has enjoyed the comforting security blanket of a soft head coach and a over protective owner for too long...maybe some public embarresment will turn things around.

I agree, and clearly he would know what kind of reaction this quote would get. He said this for a reason, and I doubt that it was to praise Detroit.

Great point punch and ohcanada: he all but called the team SOFT. They don't practice harder than THE LIONS? If that isn't a shot across the bow of michelin man Wade and enabler JJ I don't know what is. Even the players are begging for discipline....although except for RW11 this is mostly the same crew that whined about Parcells stifling style. Tough job, being a head coach in the NFL. That's why Wade should go back to being a DC which is all he'll ever really be good at.

Jaimie dukes told bad radio that Roy williams was a panic move and that he has a rep around the league as being one of the laziest guys who has no interest in practicing.

I have no idea if that is true, dukes has some serious agendas and I pay no attention to him, but if that is true how funny does it make him look for calling out the whole team, which is what roy is doing. He is calling out all of his coaches and all of his teammates when he says they dont work hard in practice.

That’s why i laugh at those who blame injuries or luck for what happened this past season. They will never get it or understand real football. Any monkey can see this team was lazy and not disciplined to do their job properly. And if they think Jerry Jones has nothing to do with this, well i feel sorry for their lonely brain cells.
