The ACL was already damaged , probably by excessive weight lifting,
Another possibility is didnt stay in shape in offseason, and maybe didnt warm up enough or properly today.
I think many injuries are due to improper weight lifting, then they just snap during a game or practice.

I will predict he is done for the season.

True. Its not like Sam Williams was a lock to be an all pro at DE. He might be just rotational. I agree. But we look thin at DE.

No what really happens even in real life it doesn't take much but to awkwardly step wrong you could either slip turn your leg and you don't have to be doing anything to blow an ACL out it could just lock up on you happened to Sean Lee no reason to think it was already ready to go this stuff happens out of nowhere specially with the ACL and the Achilles... It's really strange but trust me these things can happen with no precursors whatsoever there needs to be no reason to talk about how or why it happened **** just happens sometimes... I mean we had a Texas Ranger baseball player about a decade ago I can't remember says he was walking down the stairs and his dog got under his foot so he missed a step planted his foot blew his ACL out that's it just walking down his stairs cause the dog got in his way as he says he was probably on a jet skier doing some weird thing but he says he was just walking down the stairs...
