San Antonio Spurs

Here's some of my pics from the Spurs/Wizards game I went to with my son the other night.

Awesome time, even though the game was a laugher. We had great seats, and my son and I had a blast. Only thing that disappointed was that, because of the score, Tim, Manu, and Tony played very little in the game. We did get to see a lot of Chris Quinn, though! :D

The ref let my son hold the ball during a TO. We went back and watch the game on TIVO and you can see him inbounding the ball to the ref coming out of the time out... pretty cool!

A colleague of mine has those as his season tickets and knows that I'm a Spurs fan, so he gave them to me for the game. Pretty awesome experience!

There were a ton of Spurs fans at the game. Probably close to 50/50.

See that big old disclaimer under it that says "Copyright, NBAE"?

lame-o!! i was gonna make a tony parker stole bosh's wife joke with it, oh well

good win last night tho, glad parker healed from his 4 week injury in 3 days!:laugh2:

magic number is 7! i hope we can go on a nice winning streak so we can let the oldies rest for the last five games or so! that would be great

timmy getting hurt sucks, but luckily for us, i think it will be too late now for it to make a difference in the standings. on the bright side, at least he gets to rest his knees and it gives Tiago a chance to get more minutes and hopefully become a rotation guy. we will really need his size vs pretty much any team we would face in the second round and onward

Exactly. Tiago needs the reps. He said that by the fourth quarter Monday night he was getting winded. This is the perfect opportunity to get him more better minutes with the starters, and into game shape for the first round.

Timmy can sit for as long has he needs. The schedule to end the season is tough, but we've got a 6 game lead on the league with 12 games to play.

4 1/2 weeks until the first round of the playoffs start. Plenty of time for him to get back to form, and use the first round to knock off the rust.

im glad i fell asleep early last night, i cant believe we choked a double digit lead to the nuggets! the shoe is usually on the other foot! oh well, im glad we did reasonably well without timmy on our first game without him. But giving up so many points, even to the nuggets, without him is kind of concerning!

all 6 of those losses could have and should have been wins...well, I will let the Celtics game go, so give me the other 5 games. It is ridiculous how they choked away the Nuggets game. I am even more upset that in a 3pt shooting contest, Novak never saw the court. Then we follow that up with a complete choke job against the Blazers. Up by 4 with the ball and 30 seconds left, no way we should have lost that game. Then we follow that up with another choke job against the Grizzlies. We come home and even without 4 starters, we had Portland beat, but couldn't seal the deal in the 4th. Like I said, I will let the Boston game slide, as they couldn't miss in the 2nd half and we couldn't buy a basket. Then we choke away a win in Houston. Five choke jobs in six games really ticked me off. But now they have won 4 in a row. If they can win their final 2 games, they will have the best record in the league.

IMO, the Spurs lost those recent games, more than the opponent beat them. It is a far cry from most of their other losses this season when they were just killed....Like the Lakers, Knicks, Magic, Heat games.

I feel good about this team. I just hope that Splitter, Neal, and Novak get a lot of time during the playoffs. I believe all 3 will be vital to our drive for 5.

Go Spurs Go.

Hill and Neal will be key off the bench. I don't think Splitter gets consistent minutes in the playoffs but I suspect he'll have one game where he really helps them. He's picked it up recently and had a great 4th quarter last night.

You know who I got money on for at least one game, showing up and showing up big? That new kid we picked up, Green. Something about his says he wants to get in and contribute in any way possible.

Going to trust Pop on if he does or if he doesn't get many minutes.

Bring on the Lakers!!

Why? I doubt you even have your starters for this game. You'll probably be crushed hard. Unless LA just doesn't give a. And come out playing 'Kobe Ball'

I cant belive the Lakers had trouble with the Spurs when none
of the starters played. The Lakers suck! Go Spurs Go!
Lakers 102 Spurs 92 Final I'll take the lose because the Spurs are still the best in the Nba.
