Really good chance Kellen Moore will be our next head coach and Zimmer will be retained as the defensive coordinator.

Does this sound like Jerry....2025 ????

Head coach......Kellen Moore
Assistant Head coach/Offensive coor ......Jason Witten
Defensive coor.....Mike Zimmer

Jason Witten is brought in as a disciplinarian who can relate to the locker room.
I think Zimmer is gone… but they go after a guy like Saleh or Rivera to be DC.

He’s not in Dallas…there’s expectations or you’re terminated

Ask Garrett when he took the giants OC job and was canned after like 20 games

With that said NO I don’t want Kellen here that’s Garrett 2.0
I don’t either but there’s a really good shot it happens with Zimmer as DC.

Jerry and his kid don’t see any issue with their MO and tell me if that isn’t a typical Jerry move.

Again, the only way this doesn’t happen is if Philly makes a deep run and Moore turns down Stephens lowball offer, and/or knows enough to know that working in Dallas is futile under the current circumstances.

Yep, except for the Witten part. If Moore is here he will run the offense. Stephen will love not paying an OC also.

I won’t do the phonetics so as to not offend anyone, but….I can hear it already in that voice that makes me want to puke….

“We want to get back to where we were on offense with Dak.”

“Kellen knows how we we do things here with the Cowboys.”

Etc etc etc etc of Jerry’s BS and delusion.
Oh and after he names Zimmer as DC….

“I saw some things on defense at the end of the year that we can really build on”

This is all beyond very predictable.

that should get us riled up but honestly does it really matter when the same GM is pulling the strings anyway?
The Cowboys would need to finish 5-12 and then maybe Jerry would consider something. (Firing his glasses cleaner). If we get to 7-7 with a Sunday Night elimination game against Tampa up next Jerry still may fire MM but nothing else will change.

I'm not sure he's ready to be a HC. Putting that aside, now that he has some time outside Dallas does he have a better understanding of why he'd be set up for failure here?

If he's a tenth as smart as rumored & he is flush with other options, it would seem an easy decision to pass on this clown show.

To be honest, a lot of positives

** Easier transition for Dak
** Forces the Eagles to find a new OC ( 3rd one in 3 years )
** Practiced against Vic Fangio scheme ( that should help quite a bit )
If Moore left it would be four Oc’s in four years. Steichen, Johnson, Moore, ???

Hijacking my thread a bit ......nugget on other players the Giants GM got rid of

•Xavier McKinney: A consistent Pro Bowler Schoen undervalued. Schoen never attempted to extend him during his final year of his deal claiming that “his pockets were empty” When McKinney got a top safety offer (17M/year), Schoen refused to match, opting to draft a replacement who hasn’t come close to producing a fraction of what X is doing and has done for the Giants. Today X is the runaway DPOY favorite leading the league in interceptions and leading the top defense in the league and in recent memory. •Saquon Barkley: Played hardball with the face of the franchise, tagging him and ultimately letting him walk for nothing. Now, Saquon is setting records and is the MVP front-runner for the Eagles. •Draft Misfires: Picks #5 (Thibodeaux) and #7 (Neal) in a stacked draft haven’t lived up to expectations. Thibodeaux is reportedly expected to be placed on the trade block this offseason, and Neal is unplayable. Schoen also missed on premium day 2 picks such as Cordale Flott, Josh Ezeudu, who were early 3rd round picks and reached on other selections like wandale robinson who was a projected 6th round pick and Schoen opted to draft him over a guy like George Pickens or stand pat and taking a guy like breece hall

So Kellen Moore's dumb *** finally learned to stick with the run when the opposition can't stop it? That's new!!
Or he was smart enough to realize that everyone wants to run but if you don't have the personnel to do it then its kind of dumb. Moore ran the ball here when it was effective, but most of the time our OL couldn't create space to do it.

So true ..........here's a good question. How much has the running game improved since he left?

When he constantly stopped what was working here(running the ball)... he was a problem. He did the exact samething with the Chargers. It took an ***hole coach like Serianni to set Kellen straight.
The run game these past two seasons has been worse without him
