Three teams found franchise QBs in the 2016 draft, was a horrible year for QBs.Did they take a quarterback when they won 4 games in 2015?
Carson Wentz
Jared Goff
Dak Prescott

Interestingly, look who's the only one that list to stay with the same team.Three teams found franchise QBs in the 2016 draft, was a horrible year for QBs.

I think he isn’t good but I also thought he would be taken higher than mid round. All for him in the mid round…. I think he goes earlier though.Especially with Jerry eyeing up Duggan. Which is exactly what I want with QB. I want us taking Duggan this year, take another next year, and let them battle it out for the starting job when Dak's contract is up. Winner starts, loser is traded.
In hindsight it was. But I remember very fondly of everyone hyping up Wentz and Goff. Lynch as well.Three teams found franchise QBs in the 2016 draft, was a horrible year for QBs.

I agree but I’ll say this for Goff….he impressed me this year.Interestingly, look who's the only one that list to stay with the same team.

Goff seems to be having a career resurgence with the Lions. 48 tuddies and 15 picks in the last 2 seasons.Interestingly, look who's the only one that list to stay with the same team.

That's true and a good reminder. Top 20-25% of the league. And it was an entertaining team.Winning 12 games and a playoff game isn't mediocre.

And career stats very close to Dak. With a Super Bowl appearance.
Yeah I was thinking late 2 or 3……who knows seems like quarterbacks always jump out of nowhere in the draft.I think 3-4 round is about right for him. My thought is that, if he loses the battle after Dak leaves, then we could probably get a first for him.

Dak has missed some time though are stats close as far as games too? Seems like Goff hasn’t missed anything….Goff seems to be having a career resurgence with the Lions. 48 tuddies and 15 picks in the last 2 seasons.

I’m ok in the 4th…I need starters in those first two rounds…..hopefully one in the 3rd but that’s a stretch.True. Either way, if it's late 2 - 4 that we take him, I won't complain. I just hope that it doesn't stop them from possibly taking another QB the following draft. It'd be nice to potentially get some extra 1st round picks.
Wentz is Risen's albatross. That he overcame that humiliation, remade himself, and maintained top poster status is deserving of a Football Life documentaryYes, Campbell has done well with him. Let's see what happens this season. I was just pointing out that Dak's still with his original team. Goff seems to be surging back, and Wentz is just about out of the league.
Yup haha.Wentz is Risen's albatross. That he overcame that humiliation, remade himself, and maintained top poster status is deserving of a Football Life documentary

Winning 25 games in 2 years is right at the top of the league. The roster was good enough to beat the 49ers. They just didn't win the game. They already beat the Eagles once, so they were actually good enough to get to the Super Bowl, they just didn't make it.It ain't great either.
Isn't the goal to be great?
The roster we currently have isn't good enough. Why run it back with basically the same people? Why not move on from Elliott, who has a big cap hit (even if you cut his pay) and is in decline and basically is nothing but a short yardage back at this point?
They literally could cut the entire starting 11 on offense other than Dak, replace them with UDFAs and you'd praise it.
We could be one of the dozen teams that have never won the Super Bowl.Exactly. It could be worse. We could be the Broncos.
