LT: Tyler Smith
LG: Jason Peters
C: Tyler Biadasz
RG: Zack Martin
RT: Tyron Smith

You can flip flop Tyler Smith and Jason Peters but I'm betting they will want to keep the old man in a phone booth rather than out on the edge. That's the OL until Steele comes back. Then you shift Tyron over and move Tyler to LG.

I wish I expected more but I don't. Seeing Zeke in there is inexcusable but I really believe that unless he turns down a pay cut he will be back in the same role he had this year. Disgusting.

It's not enough. We need more around this QB. Particularly at RB and TE. I'd rather have someone other than OBJ too. If this group is an upgrade over last year I'd call it only a minor one as while OBJ improves the WRs, Schultz is a better receiver than Ferguson.

With McCarthy taking over the offense Im holding out hope that will lead to more personnel changes than this but knowing how this front office operates, that's my guess at how this all shakes out for the opener.

Cowboys!
They'll extend McGovern. Bet on it

The mere fact that Elliot is willing to take a paycut shows that he knows the ends coming fast.

Well then I'm not sure you really know what you're talking about.

The losing in the late 80s brought you Jimmy. The losing in the early 00s brought you Parcells to bring the team back to relevancy.

Lean years can pay big dividends.

The base of the west coast offense don't have 3 wr, you need to put a FB instead of WR3, and Terrence steele don't back? One of the best run blocking we have, the cowboys need a very productive RB, and Zeke not is the solution, I prefer pollard or draft one, and peters at swing tackle

I personally do not want to see OBJ, Gallup, Peters, or Zeke starting next year.
Draft another small WR like Beasley who is quick and maybe fast for the slot. Draft a G. Draft a RB.
We‘ve kept some young guys on the roster and ps for awhile. Either we are developing them to play or it’s time to replace them.

Where we agree is it is definitely a dereliction of duty if this is the starting lineup. I’m hoping Elliot is gone and we need to draft a Guard early fairy. Then we don’t have to have this embarrassment. This is a really good running back class

I think that is pretty spot on.

Stephen Jones being lazy as usual, only passifying Jerry with Odell. Quinn gets the top draft picks.

Peters is done as a starter, maybe a fill in at best.

Complete and utter failure is what we should all be hoping for if we want the future of the Cowboys to be better.

Continuing to wallow in mediocrity with the core guys like Dak and Zeke will only lead to failed playoff success and embarssment each year.

The best case scenario for the Cowboys would be horrible play that forces this FO to move on from a few of these anchors.

You’re asking cavemen to build a car. This is the ceiling for the Jones.

Not sure I’m on board with this line but that’s probably what they’ll do

I am also ok with improving on WR corps with someone not named OBJ

Zeke won’t be here or let say I’ll be surprised if he is

Peters probably better coming off the bench. He can’t play so many positions that you have more flexibility.

I don't think Hopkins is a free agent. I think people believe he will be traded but I could be wrong.

Winning 25 games in 2 years is right at the top of the league. The roster was good enough to beat the 49ers. They just didn't win the game. They already beat the Eagles once, so they were actually good enough to get to the Super Bowl, they just didn't make it.

It's not. Because regular season wins don't really matter that much at the end of the day if you can't back it up in the postseason. How many people talk about our 13 win season a few years ago? No one, really. Why? Because they failed in the postseason.

You guys keep convincing yourselves year after year after year after year after year after year after year that we really are good just let down by some bad breaks. Well guess what? A 2 year trend might be bad breaks. A 27 year trend isn't bad luck. It's an organizational problem.
