Haley and Woodson are the only players on that list who should even be considered seriously.

Haley is overdue. I loved Woody, but if he ever gets in, that will cement the bias of the media for former athletes who become their colleagues.

The Bills have Levy, Kelly, Thomas, Reed and Lofton.
The Cowboys have Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Allen and Deion.

Am I missing someone from the Bills?

I would say Lofton pretty much earned his HoF birth before he ever joined the Bills. He had almost 600 receptions and 11,000 yards before he stepped foot in Buffalo.

I understand that. But he's still considered a part of the Bills teams of the 90s.

Haley should be in, the other guys are kind of teetering on the fence.

Being unbiased, I think Gary Clark should be in the hall of fame as well. He gets overshadowed because he played with Art Monk but he was a great player without a doubt.

Monk is kinda the Mendoza line when it comes to HOF induction (he or maybe Lynn Swann). It's debatable whether he should be in. In fact, it was debated for many years before he got in. Whatever one's position, Monk makes a bad argument for why others should be inducted, in my view. In fact, using him to buttress one's claim that others should be inducted kind of validates the "thin end of the wedge" concerns with enshrining a guy like Monk in the first place.

In my view, both Monk and Clark belong in the Hall of Very Good.

On edit: you don't appear to be going as far as my post suggests. Perhaps anti-Commander bias made me overreact to your post. I'm ok with that if you are. If not, I apologize.

Sure he is, but he isn't in the HoF because he was a Bill. He earned his way in from his whole career and not just because of his short time in Buffalo. It weakens the argument to say there are more 90s Bills in the HoF than 90s Cowboys when one counts Lofton on that list.

I respectfully disagree about Art Monk. At one point he led the league in all time catches.... and had the record for catches in a season..
If largent is in... Art Monk makes it in, no problem...

At the time he retired Steve Largent was the all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and TD receptions. I don't know why anyone would say "if Largent is in..".

How quickly we forget.... the cowboys couldn't sniff the QB before Haley. He was the missing piece for a young defense and probably extended Jeffcoats career. He brought an attitude that was missing. And it all started that Monday against the defending champ Commanders.

Buffalo event to 4 straight winning none....Cow boys went to 3 in 4 years winning 3. Still don't get the love for the Bills....the 90s cowboys should have more in the HOF.

That's cool. There are obviously pretty good arguments for Monk's induction, which account for why he ultimately got in. (There are also obviously pretty good arguments against his induction, which account for why the issue was so hotly contested for years.)

Either way, I don't want guys like him (or Largent or Swann for that matter) being used as a reason for admitting others of debatable credential.

I didn't make the argument there are more 90s Bills in the HoFthan 90s Cowboys. Be that as it may, he was a Bills in the 90s. That's the only point I was trying to make, not whether he's worthy to be in the HofF based on his tenure with the Bills.

Haley should be in and while i loved what he did for the cowboys, i still dont think he should be in the ROH.

He should be in the 49ers 'roh'

you my friend are....as they used to say in the 90's......buggin.....
haley was a monster for the boys....got 3 sb's with the boys.... (5 total I believe)
he was a game changer.... and left the niners with much tension, the reason why he came here if I'm not mistaken.

He finished his career in San Fran when he left the Cowboys, and played for them longer. As i said, i loved what he did here, just not a true cowboy and not roh worthy

Being biased, I want to see the Moose get in just because of the lack of appreciation of the fullback position. He was one of the last great ones. Also, people say that the Cowboys were good in the 90s because of Jimmy Johnson and not Jerry Jones, so why not Jimmy? Or is Jerry due some credit which would take away from Jimmy's success?

The Moose will be a hard sell to the HOF comitee. Great blocking (by a back) is not always fully aperciated by the commtee. They want flash and dash.
Herschell and Haley are in like blintz though Haley peeing on cars and his sour demenor never impressed me and while that is not football related, the comitee might pass him by until the very end.

Moose's chances of being voted into the HOF are about as good as your chances of winning a spelling bee. lol He would be an impossible sell because he didn't have the career numbers and it's all about numbers when it comes to RB's/FB's for HOF induction. He was a great blocking FB but that won't score him many points with the committee.

As for Walker he's 39th on the all-time rushing list and those aren't near HOF numbers. He was an excellent player but only rushed for over 1000 yards twice in his 13 year NFL career. He was a better college player than an NFL player and will best be remembered for the blockbuster trade with Minn in 89 that helped the Cowboys build a dynasty.
