On the radio yesterday they quoted Stephen Jones who said because Shaq being owed 6 million from his old team, this will not go to a bidding war.

Which fits the Dallas template of not spending anything to win. My words, not Stephen Jones.

Same guy that handed out Turkeys after being released says what he means and means what he says.

If he said he was going to make all his visits regardless we should probably take him at his word.

No. The Colts are paying his contract for this year. This is about where the better opportunity to restart his career is. The Eagles have a couple of injuries at LB but our injured LB is likely going to have to retire due to his neck.

Not to mention. On defense. Having Micah who is arguably one of the top defenders in the entire league may sway him.

I would say more likely to get a contract to start next year here than on the Eagles.

Go to the Colts message board and read about this guy.

"Shell of his former self"
"On the sharp decline"
" no impact plays"
"Gets washed out in the run game"
"Cut him"

And on and on and on.

Fans tend to know when their players have run out of gas.

I wouldn't sweat too much if we don't sign him.

Here's a possibility nobody has mentioned: what if we haven't heard about any signing because neither team wanted him after meeting with him?
