What's interesting about Douglas' comment on Cooper is they didn't play the Cowboys yet this year. So he's not talking about post-Dez and pre-Cooper. He's talking with Dez. They were able to cheat more when Dez was on the field than they can now with Cooper. His words not mine.

That doesn't surprise me but I bet it surprises a bunch of Dez Bryant fans.

Doesn't surprise me. The 2014 and 2015 injuries sapped what little speed and explosion Dez had, which made it harder for him to play his game.

He’s suddenly made Hurns a viable receiver. I don’t know if it’s because lesser CBs are on him or now he feels pressure but he’s had his 2 best plays in back to back weeks.

As a depth guy you just want Hurns to make 1 or 2 big plays per game that he’s a threat but you’re not reliant on him

Hurns is a very nice 4. It was when he was coming in as Dez Bryant's replacement as our 1 that was the problem.

Not all of us though. Dez was all that...back when he was all that. Came back from injury and had a great 2016, then fell off a cliff.

I hated the dude in college, I'm an Auburn grad.

But the fact that I hated him is because of how GOOD he can be.

Don't care now. A star on the helmet forgives all college sins. The man is good. He seems to want to play. I was on record of hating the trade. I'm hating it less every game.

Cooper is making Dak less gunshy...that's a good thing but Dak is still in a slump..time will tell and at least there are no excuses now for Dak.

I view that stat as more as an indictment of Dak, not an example of Cooper's impressiveness (he is a good wr though). 5 for 58 (such an arbitrary number) is not impressive.

I only wanted to get rid of hurns and twill cause of their financial costs. Wanna Use some of that money towards Cooper and Beasley. But hurns imo is the 4th best out of the group.

My problem was never with Cooper. He’s a good player.

You just don’t make investments like that when your QB isn’t good at using WRs.



I hate the trade. I don’t hate the player. Cooper doesn’t make a big enough difference with this QB and O Coordinator.
