If I wasn’t optimistic, I wouldn’t keep showing up here. I am optimistic about this team. This is a very good roster. It has a lot of potential.

BUT….none of us know what this team will be until much later down the road. If you ask me if I honestly believe “this is the year” to win #6 I would have to say…again just being honest…no I don’t. This team could win it all but I honestly don’t think they have enough offensively. RB and OL looks a little thin to me.

I expect this team to compete and make the playoffs. Maybe we can win a couple of playoff games, but currently I don’t see this as a championship organization yet.

But I enjoy the journey of each season because it’s a long and winding road. No champ is ever crowned in August or October or even December. A ton of fans will either get excited or disappointed early in the season forgetting that it takes a whole season to make a team. That’s why they play all 17 plus some playoff games.

We are officially one week from watching a Cowboys game! I am more hyped about this year’s team than any team I can remember beyond 1995. Part of that is our roster, and part of that is the lack of NFC rosters around us.

On paper this team is improved. But we don’t know what this team will be for quite some time. You don’t win or lose anything on paper. When the regular season starts in Sept, we will BEGIN to see what this team is. But we won’t really know how good this team is for several months.

If this head coach slash playcaller can fix what's between the ears of his quarterback's real time decision making then Dallas can win the SuperBowl.

Anything other than that and it's very likely a divisional playoff loss yet again.

I don't think he's capable of this monumental task but I like my crow medium well if proven otherwise.

Personally, I believe that both Kellen and Mike know that Dak is limited, but don’t have any recourse or the courage to tell Jerry straight.

I think this years offensive changes are about trying to get the ball out quickly, but I don’t know if Dak has the processing speed post snap to succeed and this may backfire. I believe they didn’t draft O Line early because they figured the offensive scheme would limit sack opportunities, but I think Daks processing and panic when sensing pressure is going to make that more difficult. Let’s hope that this tweak to the offensive is just what Dak needs, and everything clicks on the same year that our defense is it’s strongest
