Bringing up Romo every time Dak is criticized is petty. Stop making Dak supporters look bad with your nonsense.I’m sure there are people who would’ve taken Romo over Eli Manning....they’d be ringless too.
He could have been a good 2nd string backup that could’ve have learned behind Dak on how to be a better quarterback if we can only franchise tag him this year.
Is this forum real life?
I amSo you admit that you are Jerry Jones
He gets spanked by the Patriots twiceCmon dawg, you put Romo on those Giant teams and he'd have the same rings Eli got. Eli played some great playoff football but dude was the ultimate chucker who had receivers making historically great catches, meanwhile the sun got in Crayton's eyes.
There contracts aren’t up THATS whyHow about we just go back to recent history and stop this selective 2009 to 2016.
The last 4 years, 12 of the 15 are currently starters..
I remember my brother-in-law from Detroit was ecstatic to play the cowboys in the playoffs back in 2014. That really opened my eyes to what people thought of Romo outside Dallas. When a Detroit lions fan is happy to play you2 Super Bowl MVP’s and beat arguably the best QB of all time twice in both Super Bowls. He also never missed a game due to injury, fragile glass boy Tony couldn’t even stay on the field for a lot of games.
Outside of Cowboys homers, Romo will always be known as a choke artist who couldn’t get it done when it mattered most, that is his legacy as player going all the way back to the Seattle playoff game.
Facts is facts. If that makes me look bad so be it.Bringing up Romo every time Dak is criticized is petty. Stop making Dak supporters look bad with your nonsense.
I was providing an example of how narratives change in sport generally. A QB can create the chances but if the receivers don't execute at key moments then the team will fall short. Wes Welker could even added to that. Not a perfect throw by Brady but he got hands to it - make the play win the Superbowl.Ok but Eli has TWO rings and to my knowledge Tyree didn't play in both runs....
Agree.Bringing up Romo every time Dak is criticized is petty. Stop making Dak supporters look bad with your nonsense.
How is it facts? You are comparing quarterbacks on two completely different teams. So based on your argumemt you rate Trent Dilfer and Eli Manning higher than Dan Marino because they have ring(s)...ok another poster to block.Facts is facts. If that makes me look bad so be it.
Not even 1 wouldSerious question..
Would most GMs take Wentz over Dak still? I think so.
Yeah you probably should block me because if you think comparing Eli to Romo is like comparing Dilfer to Marino then you are slow and quite frankly I shouldn’t have to read such drivel. How is it facts? So people can judge Eli based on the regular season and not what he did in the playoffs but the Giants defense can only be judged by what they did in the playoffs? That’s a hell of a double standard. Most of Eli’s playoff stats were very good and better than Romo’s.Forget the season rankings, what did the Giants DL do in the playoffs, they harassed the bell out of Brady for sure. Brady has linemen in his grill and he ain’t that special.
According to Ronnie and some other zeke supporters it does. He used the argument that Barkley is worse than zeke because zeke took the Cowboys further and to better season records than Barkley ever has with the Giants so therefore zeke > BarkleyTeam game. Eli has more rings than Marino too.
How many rings a player has doesn't tell you how good he was.
It’s almost as if you know he would most likely have a very good game but you also know the epic choke was coming, just not when. Whether it be a fumble, an INT, trying to do too much and not getting rid of the ball, taking a bad sack...everyone knew it was bound to happen at least once or twice a game at the worst possible time.I remember my brother-in-law from Detroit was ecstatic to play the cowboys in the playoffs back in 2014.
