Should Dallas just go ahead and tank?

This may be a hot take, but I'm being dead serious. Look at the way we have played against real contending teams. If we even do sniff the playoffs, who's to say we won't slip up and shoot ourselves in the foot again? This Dallas team has already been exposed through the defense (Teams that actually scheme, aka Playoff teams, know that all they have to do is run their RB through the middle or around our line). Playoff teams will pick us apart in the matter of seconds. Garrett will not scheme or game plan for any of these games. So what would be the point of it all? To go to the playoffs just to get blown out and exposed for the 20 gabillionth year in a row that we can't even make it to the NFC Championship with talented rosters throughout the years? Why get such a low first pick knowing darn well this team isn't capable of a Super Bowl? Why not just tank? JG will get fired and we get a higher draft pick. It's a win win situation. Thoughts?
It doesn't matter how the team has played against two 4-1 teams. It's only 2 of 16 games. How can you already be ready to fold on the season? How many Cowboys championship seasons have the Cowboys not lost two games? Your position which you insist on being a serious take has me questioning how you can even consider yourself a fan. You are more of a troll if this is your serious take on the Cowboys season.

This is truly one of the dumbest threads I've seen in a while, and that includes Floaty's.

I won't even address the loser mentality or how this would even be possible (bench Dak, Coop, Zeke, Dlaw, Zmart?)

There are 4 one-win teams and 4 no-win teams. You'd have to lose the next 11 games to even hope to get into the top 3 picks.

I hope you aren't drinking this early, but I also hope you are.

The user name is puzzling. Why would one ever want Amari to Chill?

What a loser mentality ....... When has losing on purpose ever helped a team get better?
:clap:Yet the same types fans are first in line bashing players for not performing but now you asking them to intentional lose games for the sake of draft position which BTW doesn't guarantee anything. Hard to take these type of fans serious......

This team is very talented, yes. The people you listed are greats, but so are our future opponents. Our coaching is bottom 30 of the league, and we are getting ready to go against some pretty smart coaches in the coming weeks. Can you honestly see us winning against the Eagles (twice), Vikes, Bears, Bills, Patriots, Lions, and Rams with the mistakes we consistently make? All of these games could combine for 8 possible losses. That would make us 6-10 at best. Maybe 7-9 if one of these games goes the right way. Unless Philly falls, there is no way we make the playoffs. We may not get a top 5 pick, but it is likely we get a top 10 if we are within this margin that I said above.

No it's something else we wouldn't get right. Win it all or get the first pick in the draft I have no faith in this staff of getting it right. We're just too good mediocrity:laugh:

It really doesn't matter either way.
Play out the season. Justify the assistant coaching changes. Promote your draft picks as the best ever. Promote the stadium for alternative events. Promote the "improved" team during TC. Play out the season and lose in the playoffs. Lather, rinse, repeat. 25 years and counting.

We might have no choice in the matter if we continue to play like we have the last 2 weeks.

You see, its not the losses that get to me. It's the way they lost and knowing how this team operates that gets me most. The championship seasons Dallas had didn't have straight embarrassing/nonsense losses. They also had competent coaching that got them out of the rut they were in after their loss. Their coaches disciplined them and rightfully so after embarrassing losses. Our team is not capable of doing that. Say Dallas actually tried in the GB game and lost. Would I be upset? No. Why? Because I would have saw the potential in the team during the game and I would have faith that they would come back harder next game and beat their opponent, but what I saw during the GB game was straight dominance from GB. Dallas shot themselves in the legs and gave up in the 2nd half and just tried to run the score up so their stats wouldn't look as bad. Let's say Dallas had a competent coach. Would we even be in this 3-2 situation? It's hard to tell, but I'd have more faith in this team because I know our coaching would be good enough to scheme/game plan us out of another possible bad game.

That is far too many words to read by someone I've already determined to be a troll. I'm not wasting my time reading the words of a troll.

FYI... If you have to start your thread with "I'm being dead serious..."

It usually means its going to be a stupid thread.
