Tony has taken a beating over his career; not David Carr bad, but bad.

He has had two broken collar bones, broken ribs, cracked vertebrae, ruptured disks, punctured lungs, Brittany Spears crabs and forced to have Free Reign on his iPod so please his line.

The question is at what point does all this become less important than the quality of life? He is really going to suffer as he gets older.

he'll let you know when...

Hes earning 20mills per anno.

Lets ask him to play for 19 less and see how quick he will retire.

This is not a question for you to ask or for you to answer.

In my agony I was shouting at the TV and blaming Romo for putting him self in position for that play to go down like that. I would have liked to have seen him chuck it out of bounds, or like another poster mentioned, just lay down like he (frustratingly) did a number of times last year. Just goes to show, it's pretty easy to be right all the time from the couch.

Over 2000 posts and you're this good and I am just noticing you now?
I need to make an appointment with my optometrist stat.

I would take a broken collar bone for $20 million per year....
Every dollar is hard to earn in this life. I would be one of those guys that they have to cut...

Romo has a future in broadcasting if he wants it. Or maybe coaching.....But I really hope that's after his superbowls.

I'm sure he would be fantastically entertaining in the booth calling a game, until the execs from on high come down and tell him to be "more like Troy Aikman".
Then we'll be torn and disliking him.

Damn... I hope he doesn't get into broadcasting.

Most younger people are less prone to major injuries. Not all but most. He took many of shots like that in his earlier years and didn't break anything. Dude is getting older and injuries will just start piling up. We need to use a first-round pick on a quarterback ASAP.

I'm saying that a younger Qb's collar bone might not of been broken..

Did you see that great big dufus land on him? And made zero effort to break his fall! I know it's probably not an illegal hit but do you think that guy didn't try and maximize the force in which he "landed" on top of Romo?

Tony is going to put everything he's got into getting back on the field as soon as possible. He'll be playing for a few more years, maybe more.

He's being sarcastic man. He's pretty much admitted it.
Come on. You've read me. We've exchanged pleasantries and been on the same page all the time.
I know a come on when I see one.

And now I want to say Come On to you.
I thought you'd be able to recognize what he was doing...

I bet his wife wants him to retire. I'm thinking 2 more years. And yes, Dallas cannot go another draft without taking a QB on day 1.
