Should we worry about Detroit?

Getting turnovers will be critical. Stafford will throw the ball to everyone, and that includes Dallas DBs. Like against the Eagles, take away their running game, control Megatron and see if they can beat Dallas with what's left? This game unlike the last two, is a game where Romo and the offense might have to score 30 plus?

They just lost at home - losing 2 in a row at home won't be good for them. We need our "A game" or Reggie Bush and Calvin Johnson will destroy us. They have one helluva set of DT's too. This game will be WAY tougher than Philly. Stafford is very underrated.

I will say this - if we have the same amount of penalties next week as we had this week - you might as well hang it up.

I agree on the penalty side. This is the kind of game where you need to let Detroit out-sloppy you and shoot themselves in the foot.

[quotethis="Boyzmamacita, post: 5249282, member: 1697"]That last game was at Cowboys Stadium. The last time we played in Detroit Romo led us to that historic comeback with the winning TD pass to Witten in the waning moments. Lots of Cowboys fans in the house too.[/quote]

Yup.. this guy was there!!!! I think he hit witten on a seam route. ...

yeah. I thought we would beat the eagles, and I think we are going to lose to the lions.

they're D-line is too good, and our defense is far too weak. It's very possible Stafford tears us up.

How is their 13 sack defensive line that great. Heck I know we only have 20 and not near as good as them. lol Lions will be a tough team they have some good weapons but their defense is not great. They have some names outside of that those names have not done jack. Hell you guys would be hollering if we only put up 13 sacks on the season and Suh he has 3.5 sacks big fricken deal. Hatcher has 6

Suh's a cheap-shotting joke.
A talented, cheap-shotting joke.

I think they're d-line is better than ours. Just from watching the games, they get more pressure on the QB's. Sacks aren't the end all be all.

they have definitely under preformed, but they have a lot of talent which can show up any given week.

Getting Murray back and hopefully Dunbar, will help big time. I wanna see Dunbar.

Detroit is certainly a better home team than Philly....and they are favored to beat Dallas.

it should be a good one.

As for the Carr for Calvin talk. Luckily Calvin is pretty beat up right now.
But even then, Calvin is >>> D Jackson. Carr had his way with DJax--man was that sweet.
Imo, no way Dallas isolates Carr on Calvin, though, not without backside help. He is a whole different animal.

I think an issue that not many people are bringing up is our offense played against 2 division rivals the past weeks. Division teams see each other all the time and those were pretty good wins against Philly and Wash. I expect our offense to do substantially better and I expect Carr to really man up against Megatron and make a statement. I'm worried about Reggie Bush more than anything. I think it'll be pretty high scoring.

Detroit Ian any good at home. 2-6 in their last 8 I believe.

But they have a very good team I think and it will be a tough game, but not because its in Detroit.

I expect the boys to go into Detroit and win. This win will open the leagues' eyes.

Detroit is a playoff caliber team. We are going to have to play well on both sides of the ball to win. I like our chances but its gonna be tough

Kevin Olgetree is their 4th receiver. (lol)

I know Calvin Johnsin is 6-5, but their other starting wr is 6-6. Man, our cb's better get some lb help.

They have just has many as weapons as the Eagles if not more and a QB who unlike Foles can put the ball on the money. Add to that a loud stadium and I am very concerned about this game. Of course their defense isn't ranked very high but neither was the skins or eagles and we still struggled at times against those.
Your thoughts?

They just had a last-second loss in their own home. How likely is it for them to lose back to back home games, witht he huge weapons they have? The only way to beat them is to put our Eagles' game D + our Denver's game O. If we fail to do this, its an L.

They could beat us but they are not that good. Only teams we play this year that are worse than Iions the rams are the rams and raiders and vikings.

For all the talk about their DL, our OL is pretty darn solid at pass protection right now.
