They also need to be aware of Josh Norman's ball punching ability. He caught zeke a few time in the first matchup which resulted in fumbles.

I am worried about tomorrows game, we are playing good ball but so are they. If there was any game where were gonna need a pass rush or a player or 2 in the secondary this is it. This could easily be a shoot out with whomever has the ball last winning.

Should that be legal? If everyone starts doing that some people are going to actually get punched instead of the ball. You can't take a swing at a player but you can take a swing at the ball. Where is the line drawn on that?

I thought about that too. I guess if a player misses and it results in a blow to the head or something unsportsmanlike then it should be penalized.

Skins are not the worst matchup. The worst matchups are teams like Seattle that have a good defense.

Because the BOTTOM LINE IS THIS. If Washington can't stop our run, they cannot win. Big Ben had a better passing day against us than Cousins has ever had and still lost. Because Pitt couldn't stop our run.

If you can't stop our run, we will control the ball, the TOP, and you will lose to us. It doesn't matter how many offense weapons you have.

You had the ball 32 minutes last game - if you had it closer to 40 that's another story...but I would hardly call that domination of possession.

Our ground game isn't shabby, either.

Divisional games are tough regardless, however you sound like you were fooled by that embarrassing SNF game against the high school level Packers defense. The Skins defense is horrible and they will give up tons of yards. I'm not saying it's going to be a blowout because Jordan Reed will be a big factor, but i am saying that Kirk Cousins will remind us all why he's not worth top QB money.

With nearly 9 minutes left in the game, the Ravens didn't see the ball until after the 2 minute warning. How do you win when you don't have the ball?

You all say this every week. It's getting old now.

If we lose we lose. You all worry to much.

We will most likely not finish the season with just one loss. We will probably lose another game or 2. Just might be this one.

I think we're looking at a dogfight tomorrow. Washington is #2 in total offense and #3 in passing which doesn't bode well for us being 21st against the pass. They have a lot of playmakers on offense and Cousins is more than capable of shredding us. If our defense doresn't show up tomorrow it could be a long day unless we're able to win a shootout. With their #3 passing offense vs our #21 pass defense this is definitely not a good match up for us.

If we don't get a pass rush going tomorrow we're going to end up in trouble unless we can win another 35-30 game like we did against the Steelers because we're going give up a lot of points if we allow Cousins to sit back and get comfortable. DJack will be good for at least one long ball against us if we don't apply some heat.

I think tomorrows game isn't about the Commanders being a better team or a more talented team, because I do not believe they are.

They ARE, however, playing quite well. This will be the first team that we are really playing on a hot streak. I think this is big because often times the teams that make a deep playoff run are the teams that are on a roll. If we meet Seattle and they are hot we need to be able to match their momentum and energy. Otherwise we may end up going into the playoffs winning a couple games in a row(possibly 15?) an run into a buzz saw of another hot team.

I am surprised by some of the threads about us blowing out the Skins. IMO, they are the toughest matchup for us this year. Not saying they are the best team, just the worst matchup. They have an elite CB that can shutdown Dez. They have showed that they will run blitz and pass blitz to disrupt the first two downs and get us in third and long. And when they don't blitz they have two good outside rushers in Smith and Kerrigan, one of whom gets Free one on one. To beat them on O we will need a heavy dose of screens, outside runs, and Dak scrambles. Plus, we are good to need some big plays from Beas, Twill, Butler when they blitz. On offense, they are balanced. Since the first time we played them, Kelley and the running game have emerged. Their fill in LT has played really well. And Cousins is taking better care of the ball and making big throws deep. They have very good WRs and TEs. Djax always gives us fits. And Reed is elite at moving the chains and down
The seam. Without Church and Mo, out secondary is in for a very tough test. They are going to move the ball. We just need to hold them to FGs and get a couple of turnovers for a change. I hope I'm wrong and we have an easier game, but I can easily see us losing this one to a tough division foe who matches us well.

We beat them already. It will not be an easy game as in reality no NFL game is, but to make out like somehow we are not a good match up with them when we have already beaten them seems silly

Norman did not shadow Dez that game and Skins were roundly criticized. Won't happen tomorrow

When he did Dez came up empty. I would expect Norman to be all over him tomorrow trying to get into Dez's head.
