QCampbell is awful. He might be able to pull a 4th from a team needing a backup.

What is going to be interesting to watch is whether, after the Skins dump QCampbell (or give up the farm for Cutler) whether all the idiots Skins fans finally admit that QCampbell is garbage. Up to this point, they have blamed everyone else on their team and made up a lifetime of excuses in a desperate attempt to deny his suckitude. They still maintain he is Pro Bowl-caliber. Can you imagine that level of cognitive dissonance?

actually a lot of them are calling for Colt Brennan

that just highlights their stupidity, but still

So if the Cowboys gave up their 1st/3rd Rounder for Williams, how are they going to replenish their offensive and defensive lines?

we still have 11 picks, the Skins will have about 1 if they give up a 1st and 3rd

Report: Skins offer Campbell for 2nd-rounder

The Commanders reportedly offered Jason Campbell to an undisclosed team for a second-round pick on Wednesday.

The offer was probably contingent on Washington getting Jay Cutler from the Broncos with the pick as part of a package, which might also have included the No. 13 overall choice. The Skins have made it clear that they aren't committed to Campbell by balking at a long-term contract and now this. Apr. 1 - 8:31 pm et

Didn't the Skins sign Albert Haynesworth?

I say that qualifies as upgrading their defensive line.

Yeah they also resigned aging Renaldo Wynn, and Phillip Daniels WOW 34 and 35 year old DE.......oh yeah i forgot they have old C Griffen at DT with a bum shoulder.

Even as bad as Sage is, he still has a career yards per throw one yard more than Campbell.

The fact of the matter is Campbell simply can't hit a man in stride. He is not accurate enough to hit a WR on the move.

He dinks and dunks more than any qb I've ever seen. Also has the slowest windup in the league.

If someone was fool enough to give up a 3rd for him, Danny and Vinny would jump on it so quick it would make you head spin. My guess, IF anyone wants him, it will be for a 5-6-7th round pick.

My gut tells me you're stuck with him one more year though. Cutler and JC on the same team. That ought to be pleasant in the locker room.

sage is still a backup, and has never been considered a starter outside of anything else besides injuries.

You all are the only people that think Campbell is worthy of a 5,6,7, ect... I don't think it is a coincidence that most people don't see him as a horrible QB...maybe its just the blue glasses?

I think hes worth more than a 5,6,7 probably a 3 or 4. You probably wont get a 2. He definitely regressed last year, but I blame the offensive play calling. It just felt like all he did was dink and dunk, but I remember (maybe???) seeing big plays from him the year before.

I think a three is definatly more realistic than a two. I just think the fact that a backup recieved a 4th rounder is enough for Jason to get begin talks of a 2nd or 3rd.

one thing is that Sage was relatively unknown

teams have 3 unimpressive years of JC to go on

I think sage for a 4th was a stupid move by minnesota.

I just thought of something else. Snyder wanting Cutler badly could also be a move to try to get Shanahan after this year.

Maybe a 4th. I just have never been impressed with him. He drops back and throws to guys who are at a dead stop.

I think if you get Cutler for two #1's its a good trade for you guys. I think he's head and shoulders better than Campbell. Even the Broncos are reportedly not interested in him.

Nobody fears the skins with Campbell at the helm. The problem is, if you get Cutler, I think your Defense will be exposed bigtime. It will open a whole new can of worms for you.

Sage hasnt really had the chance to prove that he is not or can not start in the NFL, but campbell has proven time and time again that he is no starter in this league.

I would not want campbell as a back up to my starter maybe 3rd QB If we carry three.

5th or 6th at best.

If Cambell could play against our secondary every week he would be like Brady! This guy has always had our number since he became a starter.

I think they are making a huge mistake. Snyder has absolutly NO patience!

I don't believe this at all. What's his record as a starter against us? I'd like to see that... Hell, whats his record as a starter, period?

Huh? He had one game where he threw over 300 yards, when Stewart was coaching the defense and we were rushing base set, and we were giving up everything underneath. Wade then took over, introduced the 4-6 and made Campbell look horrible.

+ we got a healthy Terrence Newman back and not that guy who played in the 1st Washington game.

We have 11 Draft picks after that deal. How many would the Commanders have after the other deal, and what rounds would they be? Know some facts before you spew nonsense.

Ridiculous comparison.
