Skins tried to trade Jason Cambell today for a 2nd rounder

I don't understand why they are ready to ditch on Campbell. He didn't kill the team with turnovers. Sure he wasn't lighting the world on fire but he wasn't holding that team back.

someone on ES was speculating that this was all a smoke screen by the skins (although, this went really deep, so I find it kind of hard to believe).

They brought the idea up that the skins were going to make it seem like they were interested in a QB ( with cutler available, and then working out sanchez ) to make the #13 pick have higher value, and get more people involved in trading up.

although, I think this is too complex of a plan for danny and vinny to draw up though, so I think I have to believe that this was all true

If you could comprehend my earlier post, you would know that I dont think danny and vinny have a brain between the two of them.

But once the season starts, it doesnt really matter what they think. Does what they think make Campbell any worse? No. So im not sweating anything those two idiots think.

Oh I comprehend very well. Fact is, I didn't read your post regarding Laurel and Hardy.... And yes, for a QB to know that his frtofc was trying their best to kick him out of town, can be extremely damaging and affect his play come game time. Hell, he's in his contract year and they won't even give him a new deal. How many franchise QB's have played out their contract year without working on a new deal.. Dude, pleeeeze!!!

The guys at ES are always trying to imagine up some grand plan that makes the skins moves make some sense, but the truth of the matter = Snyder is just winging it.

Seriously. Every site has their homers. But ES is the King of the Grassy Knoll.

I always loved the Al Saunders is only using 5% of his playbook because he was saving it for the playoffs one.

Nope, turns out 5 yard outs on 3rd and 8 was really all that was in there....

that was all JC could digest

and don't forget Gibbs sticking it up in the preseason to surprise the NFL...classic

Just as a quick self-defense:

1) I don't ever rely on or go to ES (i hear its kinda hard to look at color scheme wise)
2) I do goto thewarpath.net, and openly invite you guys. it's a much better discussion for those who love the game

How about, "We are saving Terry Glenn for the playoffs"?

I've seen a good share of stinkers on here as well... like someone said, every fanbase has their own "special" fans

He stinks. He had his best year in 2007 and that was the year where he kept throwing late game INT's to lose games.

And yeah, I know some Romo haters are going to say 'so does Romo'.

But the difference is that Romo will guide his offense to 27 points during the first three quarters while Campbell guides his team to 6.

I wouldn't want to guide a "team" like the Commanders though. Your best offensive weapons for the air game are Santana Moss and Chris Cooley?

I think the Campbell criticism is a bit unfair.
