I am so back and forth when it comes to Romo. I swear my heart skips a beat when I see/hear "Romo steps up in the pocket" ~ Im 29 years old. WAY too young for a heart attack!

Now be honest.
Peyton Manning lost his first THREE playoff games. He lost SIX playoff games total before he won his lone Super Bowl.
If Peyton Manning was the Cowboys QB and followed the same playoff path of successes/failure, when would you have wanted him GONE (before his Super Bowl-winning 2006 season)?
Would it have been after his 2nd playoff loss? His 3rd? 4th? Help me out here.
And I'm assuming that you WOULD have wanted him gone, since you already seem convinced that Romo's 0-2 start in the playoffs (which matches Eli Manning's W/L record over his first 2 playoff games) means he doesn't have what it takes to win it all.

CowboysFanSince88;2967122 said:The answer is simple, Romo should not be the starter next season if one of the two things happens this season
1. One and done in the playoffs
2. Don't make the playoffs

Let's take a close look at that 2006 postseason, the one in which Peyton "earned your respect". Look at Peyton's numbers in those first 3 playoff games leading up to the Super Bowl.
Pretty crappy.
1 TD, 3 INTs, 71.9 QB rating in a win over Kansas City.
0 TDs, 2 INTs, 39.6 QB rating in a win over Baltimore.
1 TD, 1 INT (it was a pick six), 79.1 QB rating in a win over New England.
So how exactly did he "earn your respect"? By playing poorly and winning thanks to his defense?

I wann believe things will get better but I don't want to trust they will because I'm afraid I will get hurt again.

i dont know what to tell you cause the onlything that matters to you is playoff wins so maybe you should stop watching until we get a playoff win
CowboysFanSince88;2967446 said:So you still have a lot of trust in Romo or just a little bit? It hasn't decreased at all?

So I'm sure they'd be perfectly happy with Romo if he got one (and only one) playoff win during the next four seasons. Right?
