I am so back and forth when it comes to Romo. I swear my heart skips a beat when I see/hear "Romo steps up in the pocket" ~ Im 29 years old. WAY too young for a heart attack!

We've won 2 out of 3 games Romo has ever started. Apparently this throw the game away issue you have has a serious conflict with reality.

Winning in the regular season means nothing

Okay, fair enough.

Now be honest.

Peyton Manning lost his first THREE playoff games. He lost SIX playoff games total before he won his lone Super Bowl.

If Peyton Manning was the Cowboys QB and followed the same playoff path of successes/failure, when would you have wanted him GONE (before his Super Bowl-winning 2006 season)?

Would it have been after his 2nd playoff loss? His 3rd? 4th? Help me out here.

And I'm assuming that you WOULD have wanted him gone, since you already seem convinced that Romo's 0-2 start in the playoffs (which matches Eli Manning's W/L record over his first 2 playoff games) means he doesn't have what it takes to win it all.

That's all I did was call Peyton a FRAUD hen he couldn't win the postseason. But he ended up earning my respect because most of the losses was because of his defense not because he had a INT returned for a TD

The answer is simple, Romo should not be the starter next season if one of the two things happens this season

1. One and done in the playoffs

2. Don't make the playoffs

A replace him wiiith

I appreciate your honesty. But to be fair, Romo has never thrown a pick-six in the playoffs.

Let's take a close look at that 2006 postseason, the one in which Peyton "earned your respect". Look at Peyton's numbers in those first 3 playoff games leading up to the Super Bowl.

Pretty crappy.

1 TD, 3 INTs, 71.9 QB rating in a win over Kansas City.

0 TDs, 2 INTs, 39.6 QB rating in a win over Baltimore.

1 TD, 1 INT (it was a pick six), 79.1 QB rating in a win over New England.

So how exactly did he "earn your respect"? By playing poorly and winning thanks to his defense?

So you still have a lot of trust in Romo or just a little bit? It hasn't decreased at all?

no it hasnt people for get that this is only his third full season as a starter because he had so much success early on he set the bar high for people.

the guy can have a bad game it happens. its just with him it is a great game or really bad no real middle ground but he is 28-14 as a starter with the highest qb rating to this point in a career as anyone and i know he can and will win us games and i know at time he will lose us some but he wins far more than loses so far so to me he is a proven winner and i believe he will eventually get it done in the playoffs but you cant say he cant do it after two attempts.

dont get me wrong he still has a lot to prove and could prove me wrong but i know he gives his best effort and i cant fault the guy for that

A high percentage of fans here would gladly swap Romo for a certain quarterback who is in his eighth year as a starter (ninth year overall), has been to the playoffs only twice and has a grand total of one playoff win on his resume. So I'm sure they'd be perfectly happy with Romo if he got one (and only one) playoff win during the next four seasons. Right?

Yep. Sounds like Drew Brees to me.

I love the arguments about Romo not being able to win "the big game", while the same fans champion guys like Brees, Jay Cutler, and Carson Palmer.
