I could see not having a public partner so nobody would know you were gay, .. but having a heterosexual partner so people wouldn't know you were homosexual seems extremely difficult ??

I've just given up trying to explain. There's enough information - accurate information, on the internet about this that all they have to do is read. But FoxNews and the like are much easier to digest for some.

I honestly don't care what they believe or don't believe. They can boast about treating humans like dogs, cutting off nuts - ahh, let's just throw in a little gay bashing as well. Most of these folks claim to be God fearing Christians too, yet I quote scripture and there is no reply. I just do what I can do, then I'll die and probably do it all over again and again.

The scientific community all agree its nature that plays as big, if not bigger part than nurture when it comes to pedophiles.

The scientific community have actually come close to isolating the specific gene. And they are getting close to understanding the brain patterns of them. Pedofiles that is.

But being broken is being broken. Some people are damaged and that causes them to do wrong things.

Some people just choose to do wrong.

So what if the question is not one of being born that way? Lets say we all agreed that this was the case (we won't but for the sake of discussion), what is the answer. I suspect that it is not I who is disappointed in this thread. Compassion has it's limits and even in this country, it apparently still stops at 69 year old men who rape 2 year old girls repeatedly.

As for your comments on what people may be in a hurry to do, I wouldn't bet my life on that.

This is true. There is a very large segment of people out there who crave attention. For those who are gay or lesbian, it often manifests itself in outlandish appearance or behavior.
