Doesn't change a thing though does it?

Whether they have discussed or are going to discuss it the reason is what?

No.

You'll be forever branded with it and ridiculed endlessly.

I suspect many are like me. I take exception to it because like all gossip it turns into a creature that can cause harm. It's apparently creating problems with the players so it's important. News is another thing altogether.

How is it creating problems with the players?

They are in the locker room so they know what's going on. Their exposure will be the questions they are asked.

But all that is irrelevant. I'm talking about how hyped and upset some on here get about something they say is "not true," they "don't believe," or that it's a "fabrication." So why take it so personal?

The truth of the matter is it suggests something they either said wouldn't happen or don't want to happen.

I see. So why did you point that out as a negative of TO (as if he does it purposely) if he told them he had one before they signed him. Are you suggesting he's lying?

If there is one thing TO doesn't seem to do, it is to lie. He seems to be honest, sometimes brutally.

I think he's so schizo and narcissistic he believes his lies are the truth.

So is this happening? I have my party hat....all I need is the go ahead.

A sleeping disorder that only seems to affect him in team meetings?

No, I think our little Eagle Scout would never make up such a thing.

Your attempt to paint TO as a victim, despite all the carnage left in the wake of his career wherever he has been, is almost laughable.

I'm not sure where it was said that it affected him only in meetings. It's not hard to believe that someone who suffers from one would fall asleep easier in things that get boring. I've dozed off in class if I was tired and the subject matter wasn't interesting me, and I don't have a sleeping disorder.

I don't know if he would. It just seems like he tells it like it is, sometimes brutally, having no concern for tact.

I haven't painted him as a victim anywhere except in the media's sensationalism of him.

But, nice use of the word "carnage" there. And I'm the one painting a picture?

I hope everyone who wants this realizes how ******** it would be to release him, we would be paying a player more to not be on our team than to actually contribute. I garuntee Tony wants him on our team, and if TO becomes a problem send him home with pay, that still cheaper than cutting him!!!!!!Think for yourself!!!!

This ought to be interesting. How can you guarantee that?

I think that sums up Inman's point nicely.

To TO, falling asleep in a meeting he has no interest in means he has a "disorder."

However if he looked up this disorder in a medical journal it would be called "Idon'tgiveacrapitis"

Its his built in excuse mechanism kicking in.

And that's nice you get to fall asleep in class. I used to do that occasionaly too.

However the 2nd time I fell asleep in a meeting at my job I would have a disorder called "Fired."

Yeah, poor poor TO always getting attacked by those "anonymous sources".

Why do you think that is?

Name me one other player that has ripped apart two locker rooms and his working on his third and I will tone down the rhetoric. In the meantime, I think TO burned his benefit of the doubt card a while ago.

Its a controversial topic. Its difficult from our perpsective to discern truth from misperception.

If, and I do think its IF based on what I said above, the decision makers believe its time to part ways with TO it will be done in a manner to minimize his financial impact on the team for the future. For 2009 his salary would be replaced on the 2009 cap by non-amortized bonus money from the past plus about $800k if I recall.

But the dead money (unamortized bonuses from the past) from cutting him would last only for 2009. In 2010 we would reclaim about $9mil in cap space, available for whoever and whatever.

If we adopt your strategy of "sending him home" during 2009, then we will be paying salary in 2009 plus still have unamortized bonus $ to deal with in 2010. Your strategy extends the pain.

Actually releasing him before anymore bonus money or salary is paid is the cheaper long term option. Its not the same as simply sending him home.

Except 2010 is uncapped so that dead money back is flushed away. Or do I have that wrong?

Did you even read the article? It has been a problem that has supposedly plagued him since his days in San Francisco, where for six to seven years it wasn't an issue. You make it sound like he comes to meetings and then puts his head on the table and sleeps through class.

And that's nice you get to fall asleep in class. I used to do that occasionaly too.

Yep. So, it's not uncommon.

It depends on how lenient your boss is, whether the meetings affect your productivity in work, whether you have a problem like TO, etc.

Yeah, poor poor TO always getting attacked by those "anonymous sources".

I don't know. People can't stand up to him? They are afraid of him? The people who use them (in media outlets) are liars? There could be a myriad of reasons.

Name me one other player that has ripped apart two locker rooms and his working on his third and I will tone down the rhetoric. In the meantime, I think TO burned his benefit of the doubt card a while ago.

I see you've bought the whole team wrecker concept of the media hook line and sinker. Good for you.
