I believe Dez just signed a marketing deal.. I'm not sure he'll sign with them for marketing purposes.

It's possible, but they've got only one NFLPA-certified agent.

I don't know why folks would be against it, though. It certainly hasn't hurt the player.

Dez could go with a litany of people...could be CAA and Roc Nation Sports, could be Pat Dye, Jr. and Bill Johnson, could be Bus Cook, could be David Dunn, could be Jordan Woy. Bottom line is, I believe Jerry will get a deal done with whomever represents Dez going forward. Jerry rarely loses a player he wants to keep. Just hope it isn't for Calvin Johnson money but fair enough. Dez is still young and could see another good deal at the end of his career.

Yeah i'm confused as to how signing with JAY Z's firm is a terrible thing? Is it because of Cano's contract which was market value? Roc Nation has no history that a Drew Rosenhaus does. I'm confused?

And for the record, Dez has a opportunity to make A LOT of money. I hope he gets it. Forget our cap. Dez has come a long way and any time a player has a chance to make money I say get ALL YOU CAN. These teams will cut you soon as you show a sign of a limp or age. I hope he didn't fire his agent to sign a "team friendly" deal.

Both Dez and Tyron are very grateful to Jerry Jones because he has really supported them and helped them through some tough personal issues. Those things are likely worth more than the extra 10 mill or so a guy might get overall on the open market. That a player wants to sign something team friendly really does speak to one of the things Jerry is exceptionally good at - forming bonds with players.

If he ends up signing a team friendly deal, as Tyron did, then I feel pretty justified in my comment that they must sign Murray, if only to show that you are rewarded for your efforts.

I believe Bryant could be making more in endorsements. Probably 5x more than what they get playing for a football. I believe Bryant wanted to go that route but thats me assuming.

For a well known team like the Cowboys I feel that they don't get as much endorsements as other players do and thats a shame.Endorsements don't count into the cap.

If I was Jerry I would help players get endorsements from some of the big brands. That way more players we be wiling to play for the Cowboys and we won't have to pay big bucks to sign players.

There is no reason for Jerry should be doing commercials anyways. It should be one of the Cowboys doing that stupid Papa Johns commercials.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion...but not sure why people would be against Dez Bryant being represented by Sean Carter (Jay-Z for those that did not know). CLEARLY Sean is a tremendous business man. He is one of the highest paid entertainers in the world. He is easily worth half a BILLION dollars (probably more) I am sure Dez listens to his music and they enjoy similiar tastes when it comes to entertainment. So I would love to hear from those that are so oppsed to Sean.

Team friendly deals benefit everyone if they bring championships. This could be the difference in signing just Dez vs being able to afford Dez and DeMarco...I hear what youre saying and I love Dez, but ultimately Im a fan of the Dallas Cowboys...Ill take all the team friendly deals we can get....more bang for the buck!
