So the man who is determining if your appeal is denied or accepted is Roger Goodell? What?

Where was his hearing? Riyadh, Saudi Arabia?

The NFL is so powerful they can carry out street justice.
How long will it be before Goodell is dragging players out into the streets of NYC with his sharpened sword.

Maybe they give the kid a break.
Give the kid a break?! He had several "breaks" while at Nebraska. The Cowboys gave him another "break" when they picked him in the second round, even though the fool couldn't even stay off pot long enough to pass the Combine screening test. He has failed multiple drug tests since he's been on the team, & has been suspended twice in only his second season. NOW, he gets busted AGAIN, & you want the team to give him a BREAK?!! They should. BREAK all ties with the selfish jerk, & let him sit at home stoned & stupid, watching the true professionals on this team win a Super Bowl.

Anyone who actually thinks Gregory's appeal will succeed is smoking the same stuff he is... it is no coincidence that Goodell scheduled the hearing for right before the playoffs, and would not postpone it even though Gregory lost his agent. He is not going to let Gregory help us for the playoffs. These tea leaves are pretty easy to read IMHO.

So the rumor is that he failed his last test because he was in rehab.

I can not imagine the NFL suspending a player for a year if they were in rehab for their problem.

We don't have all of the details but if that story is true I think the NFL would receive a lot of backlash if they suspended him.
If this is true, the NFL should be ashamed of themselves.

Spare me, really. Most players never have to see Goodell. They're too busy working their butts off & obeying the rules. If players don't like the rules, LEAVE. There are plenty of guys out there who realize that playing in this league is an honor & a privilege & are more than willing to abstain from smoking weed in order to follow their dreams. I get so sick of you cry babies, I could just puke.

If the rumors are true about the reasoning for his missed test then I don't think the NFL will suspend him. We will see though.
Keep in mind, this is the same commissioner that suspended Wade Wilson for using "banned substances" even though it was being used to treat ED...which was caused from being diabetic. It also included a $100,000 fine. I don't think Goodell cares one bit about right or wrong or whether or not people care.

Like it or not, Cogan, they don't have the talent of Gregory. Teetotalers, sober, towing the company line, etc... there aren't very many Randy Gregory's.

We need him for this run. <kneels in Prayer>

Also, who the hell is crying?

Hey look everyone we have another internet tough guy.
Another Keyboard muscle that is so tough and no nonsense.....Spare me....
If Randy Gregory was standing next to you would go down faster than a Kardashian at a NAACP rally.

This isn't some honor or privilege...Get over that fallacy. This is a business not an honor. The guys who can play well bring in ratings and in turn they make the Billionaires more money that they share with the young athletic millionaires. The only reason for this drug policy is to avoid players getting in trouble that could turn off the advertisers. That's it. Sorry to wreck your delusions.
These are not people doing missionary work in dangerous territories.

I don't get the NEED part. I've seen/heard that before. Do we need him? No. Could we use him? Sure, but we haven't needed him all year. You can't miss what you never had.
