Browns insider on NFL radio this morning said that Goff would be the choice for Cleveland. Wentz will be available to us at 4.

I could see that happening. Plus Hue Jackson is supposedly really high on Goff and knows him pretty well...

It's 9 5/8

You're wrong on that one. Check out this link or just do a search, Romo's hand size is smaller than Goff's.

was a really quick convo because I was in a rush and he looked pretty busy too.

First he told me "I told you so" because he was telling me mid season the coaches and several players really didn't like Hardy and he swore Hardy would be gone after the season. He really doesn't like Hardy so he was happy about that situation.

Then I asked him about the draft and he said they still like Wentz a lot but he will most likely be picked by Cleveland. Said that they really like Bosa. I asked about Spence and he told me he's not an option. But that they REALLY like Bosa. He was very emphatic about that.

He also told me that Lynch would be an option in a trade back or if he slipped to 2 (that's pretty obvious). But he also said we like Connor Cook in the 2nd which surprised me. They're comfortable waiting on QB because they believe in Romo.

Outside of those guys he said we like Elliott RB but not enough to spend a 1st on him, but said we will absolutely use a 2nd on Derrick Henry if he's available. This surprised me because I didn't think we'd value him that high.

I wanted to talk more but I had to go. Not sure when I'll see him again but I'll post about it if I do.

You should slow down and not be in such a hurry. After all, the more time you spend the more we can learn, right mate?

i disagree with that big time. i think wentz goff and lynch are better prospects than the guys that have come out in the past couple of years except luck. i think that's where the disagreement is. some of us think wentz and goff are better prospects than winston and mariotta, others see ponder in these guys. i dont want a guy like ponder in the first or any round, but i also dont want to pass on rothlesburger either.

I dont buy bust either but who knows

Different this year instead of best player available it is best qb available.Lets be honest here Romo was done 2 years ago when the back was injured. He is an old man and he will fade away.Maybe a good back up but thats about it.He will not last two games this year. I mean every team knows if they hit him every play he won't make it.

lets hope most of this is wrong.

Thanks for the info bro...................Looks like Bosa is going to be the pick.

Nate said he liked Henry for us, too. That's not my favorite option, but whatever.

Don't really love Bosa for us, either, but he makes sense. I'd be ok with using the first two picks on the front 7 or even on the DL if we get something done at QB2 in FA. Though I'd prefer either Wentz or Goff at 4 if one of them's there. I trust Romo, too, but I don't trust him to last forever.

I agree Idgit, it is just monumentally stupid for this organization to waste the opportunity to get a true franchise QB for the future.

We may not be picking this high for a very long time and we are just going to piss away a stud QB falling right into our laps.

Opportunities for one of the top 2-3 QBs in a given draft are very hard to come by. They're worth more than opportunities for the best player at any other position on the field. They just are. If we've got a comparable grade on the guy, we'd be idiots not to take him in favor of a S or a LB.

A true impact DE, I could understand, given we need one and they're really hard to find, too. But a true impact DE wouldn't make it to 4, anyway.

I think CLE goes Goff, and the only question is whether or not somebody tries to get to 2 or 3 to get the 2nd QB before we do. Otherwise, it's a no-brainer.

Totally agree my friend..............passing on a QB for a DE that is not even a pass rusher would be one of the biggest gaffes this team has made.

Broaddus calls Bosa "Greg Ellis 2.0" because he is just a solid player, not a great player.

Cleveland's offensive coordinator recruited Goff to Stanford. Pep Hamilton was at Stanford. Of course Goff went to Cal.
