By the way, love how you have already labeled Jenkins and Scandrick as pri madonnas, and yet drool over the 220th pick.
Better yet, take a look at what PFW lists as Barrett's negatives. Keep in mind that PFW is the publication that Cogan uses to bash Walden for being their 58th ranked OLB.
PFW says: "
The Concerns: Played sporadically and was benched early in senior year. Shut it down at times. Questionable passion and desire. Turned down contact, bounced off ballcarriers and generally played without passion. Needs to play more disciplined. Durability is a minor concern."
Plus, he didn't play well as a senior because, as Cogan said in his post... he didn't like his new coach?
Nice.
Those are the negatives of a pure, 100% USDA primadonna.
IMHO those are the worst kind of negatives you can see on a rookie coming into the NFL. They questioned his passion, desire toughness and discipline. Shut it down at times? I mean, just go ahead and label the guy a quitter.
That is exactly why a guy as physically talented as him went almost undrafted. Who want's a safety that is afraid of contact, pouts, has no toughness and is a quitter?
Besides, Cogan, I mean.
Why would anyone be uspet we didn't add this dip**** to our team?
Cogan, no offense man, but if you're going to listen to PFW about OLB's... you need to pay attention to them when they say your pet cat is a schmuck.
Somehow, I don't think Barrett would make us forget about
anyone next year. He has the heart of a field mouse.
