McCoy has been helping out in the locker room all season even though he had his contract terminated. He’s definitely getting re-signed.

Problem with looking at him in camp is he would have required a 2nd signing bonus. When it comes out he’s done we’ll be taking a 2nd dead money hit without a snap.

His injury wasn’t a career ending injury and you can structure a contract that protects you
His contract was voided last year because of the structure
And player in camp can have a season ending injury and the risks with him or really no greater than any other player. McCoy has always been a very durable player

This was said after he was released, even McCoy said he would love the opportunity to return. He liked it here, and would like to be here.
Not tampering, he is a FA, he has no affiliation with any team to be tampered with. Actually Dallas last had his contract rights anyway.
