Question is, will Bill go with Jerry. I don't think so. I believe Bill is done.

IMO Bill wants the wins record. I think some GMs and owners may want to go with a younger coach.

Jerry, could see value here in that he can keep control of being the GM while getting a "big name" coach.
Relevance in the media.
Jerry is a dinosaur and so is Bill. Perfect match lol

I think it will be Bill. But….I could see Kingsbury. He’s from Texas, been a HC in the NFL, and it’s wounding an enemy.

I’m a Tech fan and think he’s a good OC, but a terrible HC just FYI.

My money is on Belichick. One last stab at relevance for both ownership and head coach.
This is first time I can recall not fully agreeing with you my good friend.

Belichick is the ultimate Mr. No Nonsense, and Jerry is about the polar opposite.

Under this scenario, does Jerry give up yapping or does BB tolerate it? They may be friendly at NFL events, but I can’t see these two working together. I’d be stunned if it happened.

No problem with the disagreement. It’s just a gut feeling.

It feels like a repeat of the Parcells era.

In desperation, Jerry cedes a measure of profile and control, as does Belichick.

It makes sense on this point - Bill and Jerry both are washed. You’re probably right Stash butI don’t think BB helps.

That’s my guess. It probably goes slightly better or about the same as Parcells did.

I’d prefer that over Kellen Moore who I think is a very real possibility.

I wouldn't mind a Vrabel at HC and the current HC at Cleveland, Stefanski as OC. Of course Stefanski would hafta be fired first, so there's that.

But I'll bet Jerry hires him some Kellen Moore. That would be Jerry's version of Garrett part II and fulfill Jerry's ego while getting another puppet to control at the same time.

That's my bet.
I love past Belicheck but current Belicheck is washed.
Post Brady Belicheck ain't the answer.

Sadly I am starting to feel like this is going to happen. We are basically doomed. The only chance would be if he came with a staff full of young energetic coordinators who could somehow cut through the foolishness and inspire the team. Alas that will never happen and our "stars" care about one thing and one thing alone and it isn't winning football games.
New young DC Steve Belichick!

You’re probably getting Josh McDaniels as OC.

I was fine with that trade up until the point where they prematurely signed Dak to this awful new deal. That rendered the trade a total failure.
The problem was Lance’s performance in that last preseason game showed he wouldn’t be a viable replacement if they let Dak play out his final year. Personally, I would’ve still let him do that instead of yoking the team to him for the next 4 years.
