Also, with coaching staffs not reflecting on cap this team should be paying what it takes to build the best coaching staff on the planet. How Jerry doesn’t use that to his advantage is criminal. He would rather get in the way and undermine them

I can see the similarities in the past Parcells hiring and possible future hiring of Belicheck.

I like all the distant past things Hoodie accomplished.
But post Brady his drafting sucked, his coordinator hires were a mess and his overall win/loss record was abysmal.
I would concede that the defense would get better but I can't see past all these recent past failures.

And add to that you know it's just a matter of time before Jerry butts in to try and steal more authority than Bill wants to give up.
I'm at a hard pass on Hoodie while still being a big fan of his past coaching accomplishments.

Think with the Saints now having an opening ..........good chance they hire Ben Johnson. Dan Campbell would be the matchmaker........

Aaron Glenn, Vrabel and Kiffin are the top 3 candidates IMO in terms of what Jerry will want.

Either previous HC experience (Vrabel/Kiffin) or relationship with person (Glenn).

He’ll want Belichick but I think Belichick goes to NYG or Philly

Thinking like Jerry, (scary thought) if it's not BB,
it may be Jon Gruden. Like it or not.

Jerry will do Jerry things and find someone who will work with the 1/4 billion dollar man at qb. I got 10 on kellen. If he's smart he'd get one of the disciplinarian guys but we all know he isn't too bright with picking head coaches.

Everyone in the football universe knows the team doesn't need yet another new HC. It requires new ownership and a real GM.

McCarthy was set up for failure. And, instead of misdirecting rightful anger by smashing his tablet, I hope Mike grabs Jerry-the-Cryptkeeper by the throat & pins him against the paneled wall of his office before departing Frisco.

Shocked, they didn’t put Urban Meyer on there. They seem to just throw a smorgasbord of names regardless of possibility.

When we get a GM and Coach Tandem. When they are allowed to deconstruct and rebuild a team that supports their culture and insight. When ownership positions itself to build draft/trade capital for a realistic division champion followed by a realistic conference champion to a legimitate super contender.
Only then will "who our next coach" really matter on the field.

Nice job.
