Jordy Nelson is a football player. He is a bit of a Proehl/Welker type. He is not the most physically imposing specimen you will see, but he will burn your hole like steaming pot of habanero chili's..........

Everyone talks about the Talib play.....I don't, didn't see it. What I did see was him use my Texas Longhorns defense and special teams like a tampon and discard them at the 50 yard line right there in Memorial Stadium. He was all over the place making plays.

He is the perfect slot WR.....and he can return punts (not just fair catch the darn things).

Jordy is NOT like Welker. He's fast, not quick.

They said he doesn't run real routes, they run bubbles, verts and slants for him.

He's got speed though, so I guess he can get seperation that way rather than through crisp routes.

Fast is top speed, quick is acceleration.

he came out of nowhere.....he had only 6 catches his junior season, then exploded for a great Senior season. I have never seen him play.....so I can't tell you how good he is in games.

Larry Fitzgerald/Roy Williams these two not free agents man there still uder contract. You will have give up two number one's. I don't think so.

He's not NOT quick, he's just not the type of guy I want in the slot. I think he' going to turn out to be a solid #2 guy somewhere. With his 6'3" frame and top end speed, I'm definitely putting him outside.

Quick = sudden.......which means they get on you in a hurry and have exceptional ability to change direction on a dime...it is more side to side or diagonal speed...

Fast = superb straightline speed

The knock that Mayock had on him was that the offense he played in didn't run many NFL style routes. A lot of screens and bubble routes. Mayock said it made it hard to evaluate him.

That new Indy stadium looks sweet.

Between Arizona, Indy, and Dallas......the NFL is getting 3 very nice stadiums

Add in Seattle, Pittsburgh, NE, Detroit, Houston, and Denver and the NFL has definitely upgraded its facilities.

and the splits and other drills measures quick and explosiveness

so how can some1 say some1 is quick based of a forty time ?

Basically, if you have no juke, you are not quick. Tyson Thompson is plenty fast, but he is about as quick as a snail.
