Seattle loving this. They have Denver's pick which is top 5 and will be. Denver has a washed Russ and his albatross contract.

The big question is can the Seahags use those picks wisely?

Where they are drafting all they need to do is avoid a QB that busts. Probably in a position to draft the best DT in years, Carter from Georgia.

No one would’ve predicted Geno Smith and the Seahawks would have more wins than Russell Wilson and the Broncos. Seattle didn’t even know who their QB would be to start this season. Their outlook didn’t look very good and many thought Denver would be a serious contender. Lol

Russell Wilson is really going to try and get in those garbage time points now.

Agree with most everything else in your post but I never bought the Russ to Denver hype. Besides the HC getting blown out, the GM almost certainly gets escorted out of the building with him.

I have several posts saying I thought Russell Wilson was washed up and wouldn’t pan out in Denver. However, many of the experts who get paid to talk football seemed to think it was a great move. I lost track of how many thought he would have a big season in Denver. They were all wrong!

Wilson is a disaster. I heard somewhere he was still using the same audible calls he used to use with the Seahawks. Whoever convinced the Broncos to give him the farm is a genius. There was evidence of his decline before that trade. That's got to be one of the worst contracts ever given out.

For the same reason, it's hard to blame Hackett though.

And Denver is stuck for years with him and that contract. Was listening to Fox sports radio today and there are several current and former teammates that cant stand him personally. Richard Sherman at the top of list but apparently many others.

Who’s dwelling on it? It was mentioned once. Lol If the Cowboys get lucky enough to have any playoff success, they could run into the Packers again if they make the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers would absolutely feast on the defense we have now.
Exactly. We WILL care if we run into GB again in the playoffs, especially with our defense in it's present condition like you said.

Not just the contract, look at the draft picks they gave up for him. This may go down as the worst trade since the Herschel Walker trade in 1989. Talk about getting fleeced!

two first-round picks, two second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, QB Drew Lock, defensive lineman Shelby Harris and tight end Noah Fant.

I’m calling it we will be playing Green Bay in the championship game in Dallas ! We will beat Tampa and Minnesota!

I know you’re kidding, but in my opinion, there’s a realistic scenario in which the Cowboys host a divisional playoff game. If Green Bay sneaks in, I like Rodgers in a Rodgers vs Purdy matchup. The Giants have to feel confident going back to Minnesota for a rematch. If all the NFC wildcard teams win wildcard weekend, the Cowboys are hosting a playoff game.

Maybe, maybe not. LVE and Hankins may be back. I’m not giving up on them beating anyone.

Fans looking back on things is what we do this time of year. Had we beaten Jacksonville all it would’ve taken is one loss from Philly in their last two games and the Cowboys winning out to get the number one seed. Had we not blown those two OT games we would be leading the division right now due to a tiebreaker. I never give up on the Cowboys beating anyone but they’re going to be up against it in the playoffs if their defense doesn’t get a lot better. If Hankins and LVE return for the playoffs that should improve the defense.

There's no point in explaining anything to @Rockport , his comprehension skills are low and he has rocks for brains lol
