But look at all the scores around the league. No team is immune from having close games vs "bad teams".

I feel that winning close games is a testament to us being a pretty good team.

So just a question.

If the Eagles players had to choose would they.

1. Choose to beat the Cowboys on Christmas Eve, clinch and take pressure of off anyone of their starters needing to or having to play in the final couple of weeks.

2, Have to now play their starters against the Giants in the last regular season game and potentially force Hurts to play before he is 100 percent. Because they are now potentially in a must win situation to hold onto the division and number one seed.

Asking for all of those "The game against the Cowboys means nothing to Philly" takes.

Giants locked in as #6 seed.

PHI needs to win against NYG to get the #1 seed (unless the game takes place after SF, MIN and DAL drop out of contention for the #1 seed which the NFL won’t allow) or the NFC east (unless PHI knows that DAL lost to WAS which the NFL won’t allow)

Playoff oppnent is the #3 seed.


For MIN to be #3 seed:

1) MIN split their last 2 games AND SF wins 2
OR
2) MIN lose 2 and SF win at least one game

For SF to be #3 seed

1) SF lose to LAR and ARI
OR
2) SF Win 1 of 2 vs LAR and ARI and MIN wins at least 1 game.
OR
3) SF Beat LAR and ARI. Then MIN has to win 2 and PHI has to beat NYG

For DAL to be #3 seed

SF win 2 + MIN win 2 + NYG beat PHI + DAL beat WAS

For PHI to be #3 seed:

SF win 2 + MIN win 2 + NYG beat PHI + WAS beat DAL


I can see them trying to avoid SF
