lol ok. if this were the 80s again i feel ya on that one. i used to hate skins like i hated the niners in the 90s and i lived in D.C. walking around with Cowboys gear in the 80s.

There hasn't been a rivalry in 20 years. Skins haven't won a playoff game in 10 years. That's worse than us. Then again, we haven't been setting the world on fire over the past 20 years either.

Yeah my hatred for the skins grew since I moved to DC ten years ago. Before that, they were meh. The niners though? I don't need to live in the Bay to hate them.

Not luck. It's properly preparing for the departure of a legend, and not thinking said legend will play until he's 90 years old.

GB rubbed their crystall balls and realized that Favre was a few years from calling it quits ... and they pulled the plug before his well was totally empty.

agreed man. but football gods do have some part in this. you dont go from Farve to Rodgers just by talent evaluation and grooming alone i feel.

Thanks for the reminder. Parcells was so stubborn about drafting a young QB. We also passed on Steven Jackson at RB because Parcells said he runs too upright and his career wouldn't last. We picked Julius Jones that year at RB. Jackson plays for the Pats now, Jones doesn't play football anymore.

Because I was a Commanders fan who grew up in Maryland and hated Dallas until they drafted Tony Dorsett. I've been a Cowboys fan ever since, but I can't really muster hate for the Commanders.
