You know the play that pizzed me off more than any other was that pass play on the sidelines to put Philly in FG range just before the half......the two things you must prevent at all costs:

1) a TD
2) a pass to the sidelines to allow a WR to get out of bounds........not only did someone totally blow an assignment, but their WR was wide freakin open and even trotted about 3 more yards before stepping out..............you guys or homers that refuse to admit we have serious coverage problems need to take the blinders off....yes our pass rush needs to improve, but the Eagles and Saints had WRs and TEs running wide open when the QBs took 3 and 5 step drops.

Check out that thread.

On that play it was Bradie James that busted coverage. Yes, he sucks in coverage. I don't think anyone disputes that.

You know what's funny man. The same exact sentiment was conveyed leading up to the Philly game. It went a little something like this.

Now philly has been added to it. Who's next? Will next week's sentiment be:

I hope not. Just an observation.

My man we can only hope at this point......my philosophy is the same as Yogi's, "it aint over til it's over".

We have at least two more games to turn this thing around. If they don't I'll turn my heat 'o meter up a few notches from what it has already been this week.

My confidence in this team, the D esp., is at an all time low.

We shall see my friend we shall see.

That is stupid to have a LB in a coverage scheme like that....does not change the fact that our Safeties have been a liability all year in coverage......how can you not see that?
A linebacker is going to have that coverage responsibility in every play like that. It's not stupid. It's normal.

Safety play in coverage has been a problem this year. Anthony Henry hasn't played very well either. Still, safety play wasn't the problem against the Saints or the Eagles, or in the play you just mentioned to support your argument.

And take away what he does best....rush the qb

Not neccessarily. Running the 4-3 will create a tremendous pass rush within itself, and you can still blitz Ware up the middle at will..;)

Forget the 4-3, 3-4 and 46

Hire Joe Lee Dunn so we can run the 2-4-5

:lmao2:

Come on Yeager, you're psyched to see Ware in a 4-3, admit it. :)

Once again, did not read through everything.

Modern teams 3-4.

Old farts 4-3.

Or, can't get the guys to do the job 4-3.

3-4 is the way to go in the modern age of football.

Why, big fat guys in the front. How many Champ Baileys are there???

All teams should move to 3-4.

so you are satisfied with the play of our secondary?

No, but creating a pass rush will take pressure off our over worked secondary..

First show me where I said a Safety blew the coverage on that particular play...I did not, I said whoever blew the assignment.............I am blown away by how you can say Safety play had no bearing in a game where the opposing team throws for almost 500 freakin yards and 5 TDs...........what do you the Safety os supposed to do? Or was it all on Henry?

what argument am I trying to prove? That I along with %99 of Dallas fans acknoweledge our Safeties have been a liabilty in coverage and switching to a 4-3 will not change that?

You were arguing about the safeties and secondary in general being a problem. Then you pointed out a bad pass play. Sorry if I assumed you weren't just pulling out random plays out of your arse to whine about.

yes I love to see our best players out of position :)

That's what they seem to be these days, anyway....

but don't even try to pretend seeing Carp start in the 4-3 doesn't do it for ya.

The whole offseason dialog 'whose draft picks were the bigger busts" with ES depends on Carp coming thru for us.;)

I have never seen our picks without a shirt on so I don't know who has the biggest bust :D

I don't know how many games you watch but our guys still get in the backfield from the 3-4, just not in time. It seems to me we are always 2 or 3 steps away from getting a sack on many plays. Adding one more big guy on the line will free up somebody to get thru quickly and more often.

And ya know it..;)

Is it the "cure?" Maybe or maybe not, but doing the same ole thing and expecting different results is not gonna cut it, I don't have enough booze in my house for that:D

Maybe you should read and shouldn't assume and maybe I am simply not a blind homer as you are.......our Safeties and secondary have been a problem in coverage. How you can't see or admit that (especially the Saints game) is unbelievable, you sound like a Skins fan that refuses to acknowledge an area of weakness. You stating that the Safeties were not a problem in a game when our D gives up 500 yards passing and 5 Tds is beyond belief........the whole D sucked, yes, but for you to not acknowledge that we have been burned on the big play and the deep balls over the middle all year is the sign of a true blind homer. What do you think the term "Safety" means? If a "Safety" can't cover, what good is he?

Maybe you should read.

I've stated:

1) The safeties have been a problem in coverage.
2) Bradie James sucks in coverage.
3) Pass rush has been a problem.
4) Anthony Henry gets burned.

Yeah, I'm a "homer."

Learn to make a real argument and back it up with facts. You're a joke.
