Cornerback Terence Newman has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster today as a replacement for the Arizona Cardinals' Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. This is Newman's second Pro Bowl selection.
Newman started all 16 regular season games and the two postseason games for the Cowboys in 2009 after battling injuries throughout the 2008 season. He finished the year with 68 tackles and second on the team with three interceptions with one returned for a touchdown. He added a career-best 21 pass breakups and forced three fumbles, both good for second on the team.
Newman joins six teammates previously named to the Pro Bowl.

Doubtful. They used to allow the head coach of the Pro Bowl team to name a "need" player who invariably was a long snapper of their team if they felt they deserved it. There is a rule now banning that. I would assume the same applies to naming injury replacements.nyc;3246595 said:This would be a Wade Phillips doing. Thats what happens when you're the coach of the Pro Bowl team.
I will say he deserves it more than Winfield.BraveHeartFan;3246630 said:Wow. I don't hate T-New, by any means, but how he gets to go over Mike Jenkins is just baffling to me.
