T.O. Spitting on Hall *** MERGED THREAD ***

It's already been pointed out he spat before the first punt in the game...the first 2 1/2 minutes.

So Hall 'frustrated' him soooo much in those first 2 1/2 minutes eh? Please.

Bah!

Hall's a notorious motormouth.

I'm sure in those 2 1/2 minutes he got in TO's sexual proclivities, ancestry, and Pro Bowl chances.

Could YOU take 2 1/2 minutes of that kind of inhuman provocation and not snap, Jack?

owens owned Hall. He should have maned up and let him talk.
If owens was a falcon and did this to Tnew we would be calling for his head.
You can't excuse owens because he's a Cowboy.

agreed, dave. i'm amazed at the # of people that are excusing this action and even finding ways to justify it. agreed hall is a jackwipe for all this trash talk, but it's the NFL - are we to assume there's things said out on the field owens has NOT heard yet?

for all the talk owens does, you think he'd admire some good trash talking anyway.

i don't care what was said and i don't care how good or bad hall is - you do NOT spit on someone.

i think we agree on that. ;)

Yes. Yet another useless unnecessary waste of WWW space on the topic of TO's every discretion/indiscretion.

i said we agreed, even if its for different reasons.

iceberg, as always, a thoughtful intelligent post. still my favorite cowboy fan.

Well D - Hall was messing with Terrell Owens the whole game. Doing illegal things not even getting a penelty called on him. He got what he derserved. But it's still degrading either way you look at it. It seems like Hall was just trying his best to take Terrell out of his game which he couldn't do.

Don't feel Terrell should be suspended for something like this.

Once again, I don't believe you will find many that actually condone what TO did. However it's when you get into the other fine details where the disagreement is surely to come.

For instance (some speculation some fact):

-D Hall was laid down nicely on a plate and buttered by TO.
-D Hall chose to whine to mommy media instead of handling it on the field.
-D Hall was seen on the sidelines going off on everyone in a Falcons uniform after TO's first TD catch (TO was all up in his head even after he ran his mouth early)
-TO apologized. (still does not excuse the act..nevertheless he did apologize)
-We don't know what else happened out there on the field simply because we only heard one side of the story. When questioned by the media about it TO was shocked to hear it had hit the media and at that time he could have gone one of two ways, resorted to D Halls punk level and said "well he spat on me too or whatever" or simply take the higher ground. He chose to take the higher ground. I think more happened than what we heard about from that whiny one side.
-It appears TO did admire some good trash talking. so much that he hit D Hall with two TDs.
-We lose last night without TO on the field. (fact)
-For more see my sig.

Yiou know, I'd be pissed to if I just got beaten for TDs after proclaiming myself the best DB in football.

It really wouldn't surprise me if the league tried to make an example out of this. I dunno, with it being Eagles week and all, I just wouldn't be surprised to see TO stripped of the opportunity to play them again.

With that said, it seems like the precident has been set in these situations that a fine -- not a suspension -- is due.

I guess we'll find out.

The league wouldnt dare rob the ratings boost from a TO/Philly reunion
