That is true.

he's been much better then expected for the majority of the year.

He's going to continue to struggle though. Unless he suddenly learns a ton in quick order, which I don't believe he is going to. There just isn't the time to do it, nor the experience for it.

So, only 2 bad games out of 13 (under 100 qbr), means he is gonna continue to struggle? lol.

What exactly are you wanting credit for? We haven't played the bucs yet, so your predictions and/or concerns still have no more merit than anyone concerned with the lions. You realize there's no magic score you have to achieve week to week right? Just need to outscore your opponent which the lions have done 9 times this year.

Bucs look solid and dangerous, but don't break your arm patting yourself on the back just yet

I want credit for forewarning the board these guys are legit. I'm not a reactor to situations. I'm not one to want a change in the electoral college because I didn't like the result. I'm the one who told you beforehand that the electoral college would be your undoing. I'm a before the fact guy.

Dak has all the time in the world..

It's either the OL or the WRs can't get open, not the fact he is holding on to the ball way too long..

5 and 6 man fronts.. teams are trying to stop Zeke and make Dak throw the ball..

Yup, when teams blitz he has all the time in the world...

You haven't watched the Bucs secondary

Yeah, I have. They're the hottest defense in the league over the last month, i said that last week in the chat. I'm in the "know" club bruh, anyone who hasn't known about TB doesn't follow football very closely.

They get pressure and generate turnovers. And to be fair, their DL has beat up on some bad OL's and offenses in general. Seattle's OL is too bad to win anything, the Chiefs' offense is laughable, the Chargers are so beat up, the Saints plastered a terrible Rams team, but their last other 4 games, they're averaging like 17ppg.

They do give up yards and aren't very good against the run. Their offense is also pretty bad considering how many turnovers they get, only averaging like 19 points a game over the last month while leading the league in turnovers I think, and generating a ton of pass rush. That's not good.

I think we matchup pretty well against them, and if the defense can play well, we'll win. They also haven't seen an offense like ours, with this offensive line. So yeah, hottest defense in the last month, definitely, but I ain't worried about it.

They will be a tough game for sure. I just hope the Cowboys come out ready to play. We need to keep Zeke in the game and stop pulling him out randomly and trying to 'preserve him' as if we have the division and the conference locked up.

Why should I remember what some coach said in Denver?

Because football coaches publicly stating that a player will not be replaced is hardly *proof* that the player will not be replaced. It's like a GM giving the coach a "vote of confidence."

Of course Garrett and Jerry are going to say that Dak won't be replaced now. But that doesn't mean they will never give Romo a chance if Dak struggles.

How many times this season has he had to take the team on his back and win a game? He's had great QB ratings because he's had an elite offensive line, great WR play, and elite RB play. Yesterday the Giants made a point to shut down Zeke, and even then struggled a bit with it, especially in the first half, and suddenly Dak doesn't look so good, what makes you think that things will change when he's going up against one of the best pass defenses as opposed to one of the worst. Teams don't fear Dak. Teams don't gameplan around Dak. Teams are trying to shut down Zeke and they will have some success, you put Romo in and as long as he can stay healthy he might make opposing teams gameplan around him, try to stop him, etc. That sounds like it might be the better option if Dak doesn't turn things around in a hurry, because when you look at the teams we will be playing in the playoffs, they all have better pass Ds than the Giants

The Giants didn't shut down Elliott, and Dak's struggles had next to nothing to do with Elliott or the running game.

For most of the season, Dak has excelled in passing situations. Yesterday (other than right before the half), he did not. It's as simple as that.

For the most part you are right, but there were a lot of runs for 1 or fewer yards on first down that led to sure Dak passing situations that he struggled with all game. Zekes runs were all either great, or really short, and when he had a really short run Dak couldn't help us recover.

Dak was off target last night, but that loss was on the coaches. The playcalling was atrocious. It was Garretts patented "no scheming, no adjusting, just line up and beat the guy across from you" ****.

Elliott had only three runs of 1 yard or less on first down. And Elliott's runs were not "all either great or really short." He had a PSR of 58.3 percent in the game, which is higher than his season average (which leads the league).

Yes I believe he will. Things get tighter, more important, and defenses play better and differently later in the year. This is nothing new. I said back at the beginning of the year that I was afraid his lack of experience at reading defenses, especially ones trying to disguise things more later in the year and in the playoffs, would be a problem.

I am not saying that cause I think Dak isn't good, or won't get better. I just believe he's going to struggle, especially against better defenses, at this time of year due to lack of experience.

I have a strange calm about this game.

I'm not worried at all.

Honestly, I was stunned to see the Vegas line was set that high given how Tampa is playing so well and considered the hot team in the league after beating the likes of Seattle and KC.

I am eerily calm about the game too.
