Dak will never be a 10. If Romo was a 8.5 then Dak can be a 7.5. That's the way I see it.

Neither QB was good enough to overcome the rest of the team and the coaching.

This team needs better Oline play and better pass catchers. I would also not pass up any great looking young QB's.

I don't think Dak is in that realm. I would say his ceiling is a solid 6-6.5. This league is tough on those guys. Defenses will game plan for your favorite throws and make you consistently throw the types you have trouble with.

The oline has to gel. 2/5 have never played against starting NFL players. Expecting the same or similar pocket as the Detroit game playing against Clowney and Watt is silly. If the squad needs that and lots of elite talent in the receiving group, it is not much of a vote for Dak. The receiving group is not the worst in the league. They just are not great. Below to barely average QB and receivers that have never played together gets these results in the passing attack.

Talking to you Dak haters is a waste of time.

It's usually met with "you aren't a real fan if you root for a loss."

No, I'm a smart fan.
Yep,it is the only way changes will be made and hopefully get a new QB-partial success could doom us for years.9-7 or 10-6 would bring us years of more of this crap.

Lol my gosh. What a bunch of give ups.

Our division is a complete cluster. If the Commanders lose tonight (likely), then we are half a game out of first. The goal is making the playoffs and that is still very much alive.
No. No no no no. Why do just well enough to scrape into the postseason while simultaneously screwing your draft position. If we make the playoffs, it will only prolong our misery. It’s tank time.

Next year or the year after would be the year to tank. Tua will be a top pick QB in 2020 draft and then Trevor Lawrence in 2021.

Tanking the season is the dumbest thing I hear. What does it say about the character of a team that quits competing? It's not in the nature of most professional athletes. Anyone suggesting we tank the season probably hasn't competed in anything and if they did, they rode the bench or just suck at what they do.

We won't tank, we will have the worst possible outcome without making the playoffs .

8-8 or there abouts.

JG is the worst.

The trends indicate this season will likely result in no postseason.

Which is better for the franchise? Finishing the season 4-12 or 5-11 or going 7-9 or 8-8?

It depends. If they bust their butts and give the best effort and still go 4-12, that obviously will be better from a draft standpoint, but an 8-8 finish might indicate the team is closer to where it needs to be than a 4-12 finish would indicate.

If you are talking about intentionally tanking to go 4-12, who's to say what kind of damage is done to the mindsets of the young players if you show them that giving up is acceptable. That's not a mindset I want to promote.
