Terence Newman is now officially my favorite Cowboy

I just saw it and it is about time. He said this is a show me league and he's right. If I'm Terrell knowing I lead the league in drops, I keep my mouth closed and get better. This team is weak the coaches lack guts and there is no urgency whatsoever. Terrace keep talking your one of the only one that has the right too.

Way to parlay a "team rallying" statement by one of the team leaders into yet another TO epithet. :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:

No, no, don't worry, there's no danger of that.

This is very minor stuff. Very minor.

Bleu, I was repsonding to Wittens comment about Terrell I hadn't said anything about him all day. The whole team needs to grow a pair and stop flinching when they get smack upside the head and start smacking back. Coaches need to quick being so stubborn and "playing by the books" and let them loose. The coaches are half the problem they act like a bunch of scared robots instead of a pitbulls at a steak convention.

We're only assuming he was talking to Terrell because we're following right in line with Witten's assumptions. TNew never addressed Terrell directly. I do agree that the coaches need to be taken out back and kicked around a little. Maybe then they'll wake up.

BSPN has cut and spliced two interviews and has made TNew look like he was calling Owens out and I don't think it could be further from the truth.

He actually said "guys", plural, and then he didn't mention any names. He also said they need to stop talking and play because they talk and then get abused.

"Abused" is not how you would talk about Owens.

I think he was talking about the defense, ... they are the ones that have stunk up the place the last few weeks.

I don't trust BSPN, and I wonder if this is just another one of their fabrications.

Follow me closley Bleu I was talking about Witten's comments. When I first heard Newman's comment I figured he was talking about the defense not the offense. Basically I was responding to two different comments at the same time

Not only is he arguably the best pure coverage DB in football, but he has finally emerged as a vocal force on this team. Hopefully the defense will respond to him and step it up in the final weeks of the season.

Newman is just making a PR move for next year's Pro Bowl. ;)

BTW, does this mean you are changing your name to CoverCorner41? :D

Owens is my Favorite Cowboy....

Don't let Parcells ruin you too T.O. ...Speak up more!

Still waiting on Newman to make a play worthy of being the 5th overall pick.........63 regular season games and counting!!!!!

It's too bad you can't see him blanket his reciever 90% of the time forcing QBs to throw at the other CB. Go to the games and you can see it.

I'll assume you "percentages" are right...........shocking he doesn't make more plays with that type of coverage when the ball comes his way. Even Mario Edwards fluked his way into INTs returned for TDs while with the Cowboys.: Last I checked he wasn't drafted until the 6th RD.

Newman needs to shut up too. Other top picks like Ware and Williams have dominated games and made game changing plays, but I don't see them running their mouths and getting into wardrobe fights with other players.

Newman couldn't find a crease in a punt return if everyone stood still.

Tnew would be my favorite player if he could catch a football once in a while

Putting so much emphasis on the pick-six is brilliant.

Before Champ Bailey returned two in 2005, he had 1 in 6 years.

That's 96 games. I guess it's good that you don't run the Broncos. ;)
