They didn't do anything last year or really the last few years. The last actual TALENT they onboarded was Amari when they traded for him. It's been "hopes and prayers" since then. At least the guys they traded for this offseason have actual skins on the walls and had decent numbers "recently". I do see that as a little different but is it enough?I fail to see what's so different about this offseason. They've re-signed their own. They have yet to sign an outside free agent. They made two trades that cost them only late round draft picks.
This isn't some radically different approach.
