cause the parents dont discipline(at least not like they used to) at home. there is way too much for kids to do now days. you take away their fav toy and they go play xbox. take away xbox and they go to their friends house and play it. ground them and they have the internet on the computer and phone and games on both. movies, tv, video games, internet games, mobile games, handheld games, boardgames, toys, trading card games. you just cant take away enough for them to truly feel punished.

True Stories:

One teacher recently called the parents to inform them that their child was disturbing the class, parent just hung up the phone, they could care less.

One teacher made child stay after school to finish their work after misbehaving, parent comes into the classroom and cusses out the teacher.


There's no recourse country is imploding...

Unfortunately, some problems can't be solved. Schools can't raise children properly. Families have to.

not because they got a spanking, but yes because they got spanked, they got the appropriate amount of discipline at the appropriate time.

i was raised by many people and i got spanked in Alvin primary a few times along with at home many times for many different things. i have never been in serious trouble, never been arrested, never once have i tried illegal drugs, and i could have done or been all of those things and no one would even bat an eye of surprise and chalk it up to 'circumstance' but i got disciplined well and i fully believe that, that discipline along with being taught a proper sense of right and wrong is why i can hold my head high today and be proud of how i was raised.

I'm not saying it was all do to spankings but yes it definitely had the right impact and helped shape me as a kid.
