A no-no from Darvish would be a great.
This guy's stuff is just on today.

And got to Nellie and was basically like "that was for you" and everyone was emphatically getting excited and pumped up. I'm sure there are videos. It just seemed like a great leadership type moment.

cowboyeric8;4702246 said:Haha yeah the Royals announcers were being tools from the video I heard. I'm sure I'm making a bigger deal of it than it was, just happy to see Young to do well because he knows he isnt up to his usual par.

I'm really not wanting to let Murphy go, though what are you going to do? If Hamilton stays (probably not) you need a center fielder and with Kinsler probably moving to the outfield when Profar comes up. Kinsler probably takes Murphy's spot. I'm guessing Leonys Martin would replace Hamilton as a center fielder, though they may get someone else with more experience to help fill in to give Martin more time.
Cruz is up for $10.5M next season and has escalators that can add another $500k.
I think Cruz and Hamilton could be gone in the next two years. That might be enough to keep Murphy depending on what other teams are willing to offer him. Then you could have Murphy in left, Martin in center, Kinsler in right in the outfield. Definitely not as scary as it is today and as good defensively as they are today.
Gotta say, I don't think I'm so comfortable with Kinsler in the outfield though. Especially in right. Kinsler has a good arm, but nothing like Nellie's arm. I love Nellie's cannon in right. I'm pretty sure Kinsler isn't going to want be a DH this early in his career. You could put Murphy in right and Kinsler in left, but the same problem exists.
Messy messy messy. Maybe the best thing to do is take a hit next year by trading these ending contracts (next year, not this year) to grab more outfield talent in the minors. I think we are set in the infield for some time.

We probably lose Napoli, Murphy, Cruz eventually. Wish Murph could stay; unfortunately he's getting recognition now which is great for him bad for us.

The Rangers have signed 16-year-old INF Juremi Profar, the brother of top prospect INF Jurickson Profar. Juremi Profar is primarily a third baseman who, at 6-1, 185, is bigger than Jurickson was at the time the Rangers signed him.
