Thank god Troy isn't commentating on Sunday.

Good post...

He just rubs me the wrong way.

This I can understand. When you don't like something or someone, it's tough to see all aspects sometimes. I'm the same way about many things.

Nothing wrong with that and pretty stand up to admit it is that way in this situation. No big deal, I can see how Aikman can be harder to take under those circumstances.

OK, gotta break to take my family out for lunch.

have a good day all.

Would any of you disagree that bashing or taking shots at the Boys sells?

Aikman is no idiot.
Yes, I would disagree.

Dude, that is absurd. I am sure Aikman is the #1 analyst for Fox because he bashes the boys when he does commentates on the Boys once every month or so.

Get over it. You do not like him because he does not have his Cowboy pom-poms on.

BTW give me some specific examples of his hatred of the Boys. I will be waiting.
yeah people keep a pen and pad for when troy dogs his old team. what a joke

It was meant to be absurd just as claiming that fans who think he is taking pot shots at the Boys is imagined because we need smoke and pom poms.

What's the difference? It makes no more sense to get upset about a commentator's attitude than it does to complain about a writer's attitude. It is the play on the field that is important in the game, not what somebody says about it!! I like to hear Aikman, but not Buck. It isn't because I think Buck is biased; it is because he is a baseball man and I prefer a football man handling the play by play. Really, I think Moose is the best commentator of them all.

Yeah what a joke. I would think that someone might actually remember something that Aikman said since he was bagging on the Cowboys.

You would think that something might stick out in particular in their mind, but I am sure that is way to much to ask.

Fox also said that there were nuclear weapons in Iraq and that TO tried to kill himself.

So, in your opinion, everything that the Cowboys do on the field is OK?

Bledsoe throws a pass into the ground and Aikmans tells everyone that it was a bad pass and he never should have thrown the ball...and now he sucks?

JJ fumbles the ball at the three and Aikman says he needs to learn how to hold the ball better...and Aikman sucks?

Williams is out of position for a long pass gain...Aikman points it out...so Aikman sucks?

This is on the same level as ES!!!

Maybe one of you guys can start a forum named ExtremeCowboys?

Some peoples kids...amazing!

To be honest you lost me there. But if you dont like him more power to you. I am sure he does not care that I like him and even less that you do not.

That "cocky arse" got your "supposed" team 3 Superbowls!! I think he knows what the game of football is all about...

Your're probably a QC fan, or was at one time...

Go play your little Madden game...

I don't mind aikman commentating and it's good that he shows he can be negative to his team, nothing worse than a homer commentator on the national level.

I think Moose is a better commentator though.

I say there's nothing BETTER than having two commentators, homers for their own teams, offering color commentary throughout the game. THAT would be entertainment.

Of course Statler and Waldorf would be great as well.

Well we are just going to have to disagree. Because i am the complete opposite. If Aikman got the boot i would'nt care at all, but if Irvin got fired id be.

The question isn't whether he's a cocky SOB. When one quarterbacks a team to three Super Bowls, being cocky is a given. The real question is whether most of his commentary is correct. It is, you know.
