Which means nothing. Thank you.Tim Cowlishaw has said that he's surprised he isn't already here based on his sources.

You think Dak is going to light up that defense? LOLAgainst that running back masquerading as a quarterback? I'll take my chances. Of all the things I might fear, Newton as a passer isn't one.
"Wide open"? It's obvious. You're willing to give Seattle anything and everything they want. The rest of us - and the Cowboys front office - aren't.
He'll show up at the end of camp, but that's toxic for their locker room at this point. They probably can't play him, but they'll have to pay him.
Wow... so you definitely think Dallas is going 7-9 this year. You think Dak is going to light up that defense? LOL
With Thomas, that could be a 3-2 victory.

Cowlishaw knows Thomas agent well. They're all Longhorns. And he knows the Cowboys inside as well as anyone.Which means nothing. Thank you.
I shouldn't be, but I'm a bit staggered at his outlook on Dak. Of course, this is the guy who was hating on Taco like he was Satan's shoulder imp last year...And yet another clear attack on Prescott. At least you're consistent.
Here's a fun thought. Do you want to compare his and Newtons's numbers over the past two years? Say the word.
We sure have the advantage at quarterback.
OK, let's slow down a bit.
This is a good, young roster with two fatal flaws. A huge hole in the deep middle of the defense and a QB that isn't ready to carry the team on his arm.
That's a bad formula.
Earl Thomas isn't just a single player. He fixes an overall defensive issue that allows the ENTIRE defense to play more aggressively and more confidently. He's like what Zeke is for the run game.
That makes a huge difference. It allows your limited QB to make more mistakes when the defense can erase them. That's what Seattle did for years with young Wilson.
So now you can win 17-14 instead of having to win 28-24 all the time. That's huge.
That helps Dak a ton. That gives you a potential road map to exceed what you are. Then, 11-5 is far more possible.
That sure sounds like some incentive for Seattle to want to trade him to me...

No... no it doesn't. I have an agent myself. He knows and is "in" with producers and directors and even he only knows so much of what's really going on.Cowlishaw knows Thomas agent well. They're all Longhorns. And he knows the Cowboys inside as well as anyone.
So it means quite a bit actually.
I disagree with the notion there is a "huge hole" in the deep middle of the defense. We don't have big playmakers in the deep middle of the defense, but there is no history of the deep middle getting torched either. Upgrades would help, but I just don't believe there is the fatal flaw that some see.
We should make a bet, but not with either of us leaving.Without Earl Thomas, that's about right. All depends on Dak becoming an NFL-caliber pocket quarterback.
Man sorry we do not agree, I have no issue with paying talent.
In terms of draft picks we are in more of an agreement. 4 years 48 mill with incentives I don't think it unfair to a top player. The draft picks is between seahawks and Cowboys, the deal with the player is between team and player. Either you feel he is an elite player worthy of the deal or you don't. However at this stage this is all meaningless since there appears there is no movement on this.

Tim Cowlishaw is not Earl's mouthpiece.
Which has nothing to do with Earl only going to Dallas, if traded. Stop muddying that water. He knows the discussions that have been had. Seattle is pissed right now. They don't like being muscled.
They should have already pulled the trigger, but they're being stubborn. That is something nobody can predict or control.
Last year was 8-8. (Don't count that 6-0 win against Philly's 3rd-stringers.)We should make a bet, but not with either of us leaving.
I don't want you to leave.
