Prove I posted 5 minutes after game one Boston win - I was in Garden and not home to near 2:00. Nice BS angle again!

Ah, you're here this time lol...

Great come back win though, can't even lie about it. Game really should have been over, but we let you back in and you took advantage of it. Need the next one and we'll see what happens, I still think it's winnable (just very tough).

Everyone can look at your history here kid and see that right after the celtics win (THIS YEAR SINCE YOU NEVER CLAIMED TO BE A CELTICS FAN BEFORE this year after they bought all the new talent) you post ..... and when they lose you disappear.

Trying to claim anything else is stupid even by your standards.

Couple of thoughts...

We need to put any "Kobe is better than Jordan" talk to rest. Great, great player? Definitely. But MJ never blew 24 point leads at home in the Finals.

Doc Rivers is outcoaching Phil Jackson.

So much for the refs/David Stern extending the Finals to seven games.

As long as the Lakers lose the finals, I can sleep at night. Not too happy about Boston being there, but it's better than some other teams I that I despise.

I will say this, Kobe has just taken away his ability to ever be compared to MJ. no only is 3-2 in the Finals. But on top of that, he allowed Boston to come back from 20 down midway through the 3rd quarter.

No matter how bad your supporting role is, you should never lose a game that you have that big of lead in.

Phil can say what he wants. This series is over, and it sucks, because i love Phil as a coach, but the bottom line. the Lakers, and Kobe, just failed miserably.

Yep, I am happy for all the real Celtics fans and the Big 3, especially Ray Allen.

And I gurantee you if the Patriots had the history of winning that the Cowboys do, he would be a Patriots fan too.

Only people who think that are media members looking for something to talk about. Jordan was the best basketball player ever. Kobe will go down as the 2nd greatest SG and depending on how many more titles he wins a top 5-10 player ever. Not too bad. Plus as the years go on Jordan will get better and better. Nobody talks about his Wizards comeback debacle, or how he is one of the worst exceutives in the league, or that stupid baseball stint he did. Next thing you know, they will talk about how he was a great teammaate, and Steve Kerr deserved that punch to the face, and Bill Carwright overracted by threating to cripple MJ and how he was a family man and it was his wife that drove him into the arms of several hundred women.

Anyway I just got back from Vacation, and it's not looking pretty. Thank God I didn't wach any of these games. I knew Boston won game 1, and heard everone making fun of PP on the radio on the way to the airport at 4 AM.

I was in Ireland so I made sure I stayed away from any USA today's I saw to avoid it ruining my vacation.

I didn't know what to expect for this series. SA and Boston were the only teams that scared me with out Bynum. Hopefully we win tonight and give them a good battle in game 6. It doesn't look good though.

If you are a Laker Fan just take soilce knowing that you are basically playing with house money this year. Only thing stopping the Lakers from winning the next 2-4 titles are injuries, and the Portland Tailblazers.

Another close finish. Lakers with a 2 pt lead with under 50 secs left and Boston has the ball.

Great play by Kobe puts it back to four with 37 secs left.

38 points, six boards, eight assists - yeah. He's really done a lot during this playoffs to cement a name for himself, all time, if they end up closing this out.

Lakers win 103-98, so it goes back to Boston with the Lakers needing to win two road game back-to-back on the road, and come back from a 3-1 deficit that has never before been done in the NBA Finals.

Who knows? No team in the Finals had ever come from behind by more than 15 points - until the Celtics did it from 24. Still, huge advantage to the Celtics since they have lost only one game at home all postseason and now only have to win one out of two.

Pierce is a beast - and great game and we in it till Garnett choked two free throws. I fear when we go all Pierce that it detracts from team aspect -

It's back to the Garden and as I said all season long. The NBA Championship runs through the Garden. Good Laker win tonight.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Boston guard Ray Allen left Staples Center quickly after Game 5 of the NBA finals Sunday night because of a health concern involving one of his children.

The Celtics didn't give specifics, but released a statement in which coach Doc Rivers asked that, "You please respect Ray's privacy at this time, and we'll keep you up to date as best we can moving forward."

Allen has a daughter, Tierra, and sons Walter Ray Allen III and Walker.
Allen scored 16 points on 4-of-13 shooting in the Celtics' 103-98 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. His status for Game 6 on Tuesday in Boston is not known.
